Pros The helpfulness and sensitivity to our needs by the owners was faultless. The pictures of the pool and surrounding area does not do it justice. There is now a path and handrail down to the pool with comfortable sun loungers. We had some lovely nights sitting by the pool which was beautifully lit up.
The restaurant next door was an added bonus and the 3 nights we ate there provided the best food of the holiday.
Cons Nothing
Local attractions Beautiful scenery with so many lovely old towns to wander around. Sienna was well worth a visit.

Pros UPDATE

The owner has made a number of improvements to Casa La Sosta

The downstairs kitchen worktop has been replaced.

The water is now run from the first floor which has improved the water pressure. There are no longer any issues with the hot water.

Two more chairs have been added to the dining room.

Pros - Goed ingerichte keuken op 1e etage.
- wasmachine aanwezig

Pros Casa La Sosta more than lived up to our expectations. The location was excellent, lovely views and in easy reach of the beautiful hilltop towns in the area. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us and ample storage for clothes. We loved the pool, and the 2 covered areas for outdoor living were ideal in the heat. We were only there for a week - wish it could have been longer.
Cons We had some trouble getting hot water in the bathroom on the first floor, but it wasn't a problem because we just used the downstairs shower.
Local attractions Castellina was a lovely town and only about 15 minutes away. Our favourite place, although further away, was San Gimigniano - a must to visit, with wonderful medieval buildings and although busy, not at all touristy. We also went to Sienna which we enjoyed, but didn't get to Florence - too many lovely local places to see. As for restaurants, Alla Piazzza opposite the house was really good. The personnel were charming and I have never tasted such wonderful homemade pasta! There are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that we were spoilt for choice.

Pros Casa La Sosta is a very nice traditional building set in a lovely location
Cons The only thing that could be a problem is the path to the pool as this is very steep and uneven. This could be a problem for older people staying or the very young it would be a lot better with steps and a hand rail.
Local attractions The restaurant across the road is very good all the villages in the local area are worth a visit. Panzano Sunday market is a good mix of food and local products.
