Archi at Casenuove La Torre

Archi is a pretty ground floor villa. It has a lovely furnished terrace outside with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside of rolling Tuscan hills covered with vineyards.
On entering the villa there is a spacious lounge furnished with a couple of double sofas and an armchair. It have the typical Tuscan terracotta floor and a ceiling of wooden beams with terracotta tiles.
To the left of the lounge there is a corridor, which leads to the
kitchen and bedrooms. The kitchen is well fitted and includes an oven,
gas hobs, fridge with freezer. In the centre of the room is a wooden
table with 4 chairs. To one side double doors provide access to the
garden.
Opposite the kitchen is the bathroom with shower. At the end of the
corridor are the two bedrooms. One is a comfortable double bedroom
with two windows providing plenty of light and fantastic views. Above
the bed is a mosquito net, in one corner is an armchair. The room is
completed by a wardrobe with internal drawers. This room cannot be
made into a twin.
The second bedroom is a twin room. This is a smaller room, also with a
couple of windows providing plenty of light. There is a wardrobe with
internal drawers in the room. The beds can be put together to make a
double.
Ideal for a family with lovely views.
The terrace is for private use of the guests of Archi but it is not secluded from view of other guests.
Only small dogs allowed.

Casenuove La Torre is a lovely family run farm in the heart of the Chianti between two important Chianti towns, Panzano and Greve in Chianti. The property consists of a main building, a little cottage and a small villa near the farm buildings, for a total of 7 villas.
The communal gardens are slope away from the main building. To one side is the pool at a lower level than the villas. It's surrounded by a lovely paved sun deck furnished with sun-beds and umbrellas. Around this there is a pretty olive grove and beyond fantastic views of the rolling Chianti hills.
Surrounding all the villas there are the vineyards and olive groves of the farm. From all sides of the garden there are splendid, wide open, panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside with its rolling Chianti hills covered with vineyard, forests, olive groves and dotted with small stone towns and villas.
At Casenuove La Torre there is a small reception where guests can obtain assistance during the day.

Pool Info
The pool is located at a lower level than the buildings of Casenuove La Torre. It's nestled in the well maintained gardens that surround the villas, and has fantastic views of the countryside.
Encircling the pool is a paved deck dotted with sun-beds and umbrellas to enjoy the warm Tuscan sun.
The swimming pool is 12x6 metres and 1-1.5metres deep. It is open from May to September.
Nearest town
The nearest town is Panzano. This is one of the 5 main Chianti towns
and has a selection of shops and restaurants. It also have amenities
such as bank, post office and pharmacy.

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
