Sopra Armido at Casenuove La Torre

Sopra Armido is found towards the back of the main building of Casenuove le Torre. It has a furnished terrace which gets morning shade and afternoon sun with spectacular sunsets.
Seven steps lead up to this first floor villa from the terrace. On entering to the left is a lounge with a double sofa and 2 armchairs. To the back of this room is the wooden dining table with 4 chairs.
An arch leads into the small yet well furnished kitchen. It includes gas hobs, oven and fridge with freezer. From all the windows of the living area there are good views of the pretty Tuscan hills covered with vineyards that surround the property.
Directly ahead of the front door there are several steps which lead up to the bedroom area. At the top of the stairs to the right is a large double bedroom which cannot be made into a twin room. This room is furnished with a wardrobe with internal drawers and an armchair.
At the end of the little corridor is the bathroom with shower. Next to this is a twin bedroom which can be made into a double if requested when booking. This is a small room but has a wardrobe and fantastic views.
A lovely little villa with the sleeping area separate from the living area, and fantastic views.
Only small dogs allowed.

Casenuove La Torre is a lovely family run farm in the heart of the Chianti between two important Chianti towns, Panzano and Greve in Chianti. The property consists of a main building, a little cottage and a small villa near the farm buildings, for a total of 7 villas.
The communal gardens are slope away from the main building. To one side is the pool at a lower level than the villas. It's surrounded by a lovely paved sun deck furnished with sun-beds and umbrellas. Around this there is a pretty olive grove and beyond fantastic views of the rolling Chianti hills.
Surrounding all the villas there are the vineyards and olive groves of the farm. From all sides of the garden there are splendid, wide open, panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside with its rolling Chianti hills covered with vineyard, forests, olive groves and dotted with small stone towns and villas.
At Casenuove La Torre there is a small reception where guests can obtain assistance during the day.

Pool Info
The pool is located at a lower level than the buildings of Casenuove La Torre. It's nestled in the well maintained gardens that surround the villas, and has fantastic views of the countryside.
Encircling the pool is a paved deck dotted with sun-beds and umbrellas to enjoy the warm Tuscan sun.
The swimming pool is 12x6 metres and 1-1.5metres deep. It is open from May to September.
Nearest town
The nearest town is Panzano. This is one of the 5 main Chianti towns
and has a selection of shops and restaurants. It also have amenities
such as bank, post office and pharmacy.

Mooi appartement prachtige ligging, heerlijk rustig, maar we waren alleen! Als er meerdere gezinnen geweest waren was het anders geweest! Vriendelijke ontvangst en heerlijke wijn .
De wifi verbinding was niet stabiel, als het er was maar op een plek beschikbaar
In dichtbijzijnde dorpje Panzano heerlijke cappuccino en broodjes! Op pleintje goede slager met goed vlees en lekkere worst! In de kroeg lekker en simpel eten. Tussen de middag in de tuin van de sigarenwinkel goed wijn te proeven met Toscaanse hapjes!

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
