Casetta I 19 is a lovely property with incredible views, well restored and perfectly maintained only a few minutes drive from Vinci. It is composed of a single building on two floors which houses five little Tuscan villas.
On a lower level than the house is the large sparkling pool which looks out over the neighbouring golf course and the views beyond. It is comfortably equipped and is the ideal place to relax.
To one side of the villa is an area with tables and benches. This is covered by a pergola. while to the front and overlooking the pool and views is a pretty gravel, shared terrace which is furnished with various wicker sofas and armchairs all shaded by large umbrellas. There is also a large communal dining room which is accessed from the front of the property.The room is furnished with three tables and seating for twenty people.
Access to the main house and five little villas is via one of three ways. A set of external steps lead up to the first floor directly into villa "La Cipressa". There are two doors at the front of the property. The left hand door opens into a communal hallway and internal staircase. On the right is a  large glass door which is perfect for wheelchair access, this opens directly into villa “Leonardo”.
Inside there is plenty of space in the open plan living-dining room and kitchen. Against one wall is a large double sofa. While in the centre of the room is a wooden table with six chairs. Along the far wall is the kitchenette which is equipped with gas hobs, an oven and fridge with separate freezer compartment.
To the back of the villa are two bathrooms. One is a small bathroom with a shower. The other is wheelchair friendly with an open shower with no shower tray. The two bedrooms look out to the back of the property and the pergola with the tables and chairs to dine al fresco.
The first of the two bedrooms is a twin which cannot be made into a double. It has matching iron beds and a large chest of drawers. The second room is a double with an iron bed and a big wooden wardrobe.
Il Leccio is a lovely simple, first floor villa. Inside is an open plan room which has a wooden dining table that seats six below the window. While a small kitchenette is against one wall. It is equipped with gas hobs, an oven and fridge with separate freezer. There is very limited counter space. Completing the furnishing is a double sofa and wall mounted TV.
Down a short corridor is a bathroom with shower and the two bedrooms. The first is a twin room which cannot be made into a double. It is a bright, pretty room with iron beds and a chest of drawers.
The double bedroom at the end of the hall is a spacious room with a lovely iron bed and a four door wardrobe with shelf and hanging space. This room, like all the others in the villa looks out to the side of the property from where there are wide open views.
L'Olivo is a first floor Tuscan villa located to the back of the main building. On entering there is a large dining table for six people in the centre of the room and a double sofa against the back wall. Passing under an arch is the kitchenette which is equipped with gas hobs, an oven and a fridge with separate freezer compartment. There is limited work space.
Down a short corridor are the two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The first of the two bedrooms is a narrow twin furnished with matching iron beds and a chest of drawers.
The second bedroom is a pretty double room with an iron bed and a large wardrobe. Like the rest of the villa the floor is tiled with local terracotta Tiles.
La Pergola is a first floor Tuscan villa located to the back of the building. Inside is an open plan room which has a comfortable double sofa in one corner and a wooden table which seats 6 in the centre of the room, against one wall is a kitchenette which has gas hobs, an oven and a fridge with separate freezer compartment. It has limited counter space.
To one side are some wood and iron steps which lead up to a second sitting area which is not suitable for children. It has two sofas on different levels, both of these mezzanine floors have low ceilings.
Off this open plan room is the bathroom with shower and the two bedrooms. The first is a bright and spacious double room which has a lovely iron bed and a large wooden wardrobe.
The second bedroom is a single room with a large wardrobe. Both bedrooms have windows which look out to the pool area, golf course and the incredible views Beyond.
La Cipressa is accessed up some external stone stairs. Once inside further steps lead up to the first floor and the villa. At the top of the internal stairs there is an open plan room which has a double sofa to one side. A table that seats six and a kitchenette are at the far end of the room. The kitchen is simple and equipped with gas hobs, an oven and a fridge with separate freezer compartment. There is limited work space. 
A small hall provides access to a bathroom with shower and the two bedrooms. The first is a twin room with iron beds which cannot be set up as a double. The room has a wooden chest of drawers.
The second bedroom is a spacious double with a lovely iron bed. There is a large wardrobe with hanging and shelf space. The entire house has the traditional terracotta and wooden beam ceiling typical of Tuscan villas.

The outside eating area is to the back of the building where there is a table with benches available for guests of La Cipressa I 19.

Pool Info

The large swimming pool is located on a lower level of the perfectly manicured garden. A pretty path with steps leads down to it from the communal terrace. It has a fantastic position overlooking the neighbouring golf course and onto the wide open views beyond, on three sides.
Around the pool is a large paved sun deck which has various awns providing shade to several comfortable sun beds. To the far side of the pool are a couple of tables with chairs which overlook the views.
The pool is a chlorine cleansed pool. It is 12x6 metres and 1.2-1.4 metres deep. It is open from May to October, weather permitting. There are roman steps to enter the sparkling water and a Jacuzzi in one corner to relax under the Tuscan sun.

Nearest town

The nearest town is Vinci, which is the birth place of Leonardo da Vinci. It is 3km away. A lovely town with several shops and restuarants to choose. It has a small supermarket. There are also other amenities including banks, petrol, doctor's office, pharmacy and a post office. In the large town of Empoli, 6km away, there is a big supermarket.
