Located in a tiny ancient Chianti village Sommavilla is just a few kilometers from the central Chianti town of Castellina there is also easy access to Tuscany's most famous cities Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and many others you may choose to explore. There is a swimming pool which is 6 mtrs x 3.5 mtrs x 1.5 mtrs.

The treasures of the Chianti wine producing region include tiny hamlets usually graced by the presence of a chapel cared for by locals who celebrate mass there on occasional Sundays. The experience of this life is at the hamlet of Sommaville.

There is a large terrace to the front of the house shaded by an old cedar tree that faces the hamlet’s ancient chapel, there is also a small private terraced garden a short walk from the house through the hamlet, in this garden there is the pool. It has views across Chianti vineyards with a Tuscan BBQ grill available for guests. The pool and garden area is private to Casetta Sommavilla however it is not secluded from the view of other passing residents as the property is part of a hamlet.

The back of Casetta Sommavilla is attached to another house. This property has a single private entrance, which leads into a "tinello" the traditional dining and living room with a huge fire place on one side and a small adjacent kitchen. The high ceiling is graced by typical wooden beams and terracotta tiles. This traditional room has low lighting.

There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with the possibility to sleep three people in a double and a single bed. There is plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom is with a shower.

Casetta Sommavilla is well located in a typical hamlet only a few minutes from a market town.
