Dick Calabro assisted us in makingour reservation and was great. He answered all of our questions and when he could not, got back to us promptly. We looked as several other web sites dozens of properties. It finally came down to the service provided by Dick.

I have no doubt that he's a sincere and honest person with a lot of personal local knowledge.
I had a couple of concerns about the property based on past reviews and he was able to contact the owner and reassure me within 36 hours that those things would be addressed.
I have booked the villa and I feel completely confident that it will be wonderful and as described.

Dick Calabra saved the day! We booked a terrible property with a different company. We called Dick and he immediately sent us directions to a property that we have considered earlier. It was beautiful, just what we were looking for. The pictures on the Internet did not do it justice. The property manager wanted 850 euro/week. We paid 600 euro/ week through To-Tuscany. Dick made all the last minute calls and we were able to move to the new apartment within 24 hours. Thanks for saving the day, the apartment exceeded our expectations. We will recommend " To-Tuscany.com" to all of our friends and family. And will definately look to you for future rentals.

What did you like about our service?
I first used your service in 2008, and the thing I liked most, other than that you had a good selection of villas, was that I could actually talk to your representatives, who either knew the answers for my particular villa questions, or found the answers and called me back. That's very rare and very important. The villa was as presented, at least as delightful as you presented it, and the owners were wonderful, Your procedures are easy and without any residual "brain damage". And to top it all off, I just received a lovely gift from Dympna, as a condolence because while I was in Italy this year, my best friend died in her sleep and I had to continue on the trip because I was leading a group. That thoughtfulness went way beyond anything i would have expected from even the best villa agency.
What did you dislike about our service?
There was nothing to dislike, so I congratulate you!

The speed at which you responded. From my initial e-mail to Sean inquiring about the property right to the very end your response time was outstanding. Fast friendly service is a definite plus especially to Americans who want everything yesterday if you know what I mean.

Thank you for all your assistance over the two years we planned our trip to Radda in Chianti. For us, it was well worth the wait. We fell in love with the town of Radda. It is not a "tourist" town. It felt like home. The butcher, wine merchant, fruit vendor, ceramicist, despite the fact that we speak no Italian, made us feel welcome. Your restaurant suggestions were excellent, accurate, and appreciated. Tom especially loved San Sano. I thought Volpaia and La Vigne in Radda were exceptional. Thank you again.
But, most of all the Soldani family are friendly, generous hosts. The Casa Ceperano was immaculate. Sarah was always there and helpful when needed. You may have heard that one of our sons had his possessions stolen from their rental car on the outskirts of Rome. Sarah helped replace their rental car with Thrifty in Florence, directed them to malls and shops where they could buy replacement possessions, and was just very kind and thoughtful. Our only disappointment was that we could not have Sarah cook for the family while we were there. So, of course my sons are talking that we must go back soon!
Thank you again for a memorable vacation in beautiful Tuscany.

What did you like about our service?
The customer service we received was outstanding! Any question I had was promptly answered (even from representatives in Britain, when necessary), and every request given consideration. I was extremely pleased with the level of detail in the information that was provided to us....especially since this was our first trip to Italy!
What did you dislike about our service?
Driving directions to Montefiore could have been more detailed.....we had some difficulty finding it, but it was also our first day driving in Italy! After the week of driving around the region, I think we probably would have been more "successful!"
Please offer some suggestions to improve our website
I loved it! And I loved the level of detail (especially specific details about what would be available in the surrounding villages, etc.)

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
