Dear Newsletter Reader,
Welcome to 2011.

We are delighted to have seen so many of you booking your next holidays with us for the Summer and even enquiring for 2012!

If you cant wait for the summer to come, why not think of a visit during the low season - perhaps a short break or a 'get-away' with friends.

Below are two great offers: the first at one of our popular hamlet Casa Sisti - where you will find the hot tub set to 30 degrees during the winter!! and the second to Villa Ragnaia which is located just 500 metres away from the famous town of San Gimignano.

It has also been a great start to the new year for To Tuscany with the launch of its Dutch language website and new staff member Claire Stadhouder.

We continue to try to serve the needs of all our guests from all around the world but if you have any comments or suggestions to improve our websites, please feel free to let us know.

With the low cost airlines practically giving away their seats at the moment, why not consider a quick trip to Tuscany perhaps for a a romantic get-away, an early Easter visit or a Birthday treat with all your friends.  Whatever your reason for going, Casa Sisti is the place to go.

Casa SistiCasa Sisti has been a firm favourite of our To Tuscany clients for many years now and offers accommodation for between 2-8 people in a beautifully restored Tuscan hamlet on the road to the Etruscan town of Volterra.

Casa Sisti is well located for sightseeing - only 10kms from the famous town of San Gimignano - and there is even a local bus service to Siena from just a short walk away.  The small town where the hamlet is located has a grocery store and a few minutes drive away is the walled city of Colle val d'elsa where there are plenty of restaurants, shops and a supermarket.

Dont just take our word for Casa Sisti being a great place to visit!  Here are some client comments (thats comments from real people that really have stayed there):

"Wonderful. Our villa was even nicer than it looked in the pictures on the webpage. There were so many different places to sit etc. around the complex that it would be hard to feel crowded. Lilliane in the reception was so kind and helpful. It really enhanced our holiday because she was able to tell us where we could park for free in towns and helped to book us into museums in Florence and into popular restaurants, that our limited italian would have meant we missed out on"

You can book to stay for a minimum of 4 nights with arrivals on any day of the week from now until the end of April (including the Easter holiday dates)  Dont worry about heating costs as there is a fixed charge per apartment per day (6-8 Euros daily for the apartments and 50 euros daily for the house) so you know exactly how much you are paying before you go.

The cost is worked out from the weekly price divided by at least 4 nights. As an example:

Casa Sisti Hot TubFour people booking Apartment 4 from arrival Thursday 17th March to departure Monday 21st March (4 nights)  Weekly price (until 26th March) is 529 divided by 7 = a daily rate of 76.  Multiply this by 4 nights and the accommodation will cost you 304 or 76 each!  With the daily heating cost of only 8 Euros per day (for a two bedroomed apartment), it still brings your short break to well under 100 per person for the accommodation.

There are 3 apartments for 2 people, 4 apartments for 4 people and a detached house within the hamlet for up to 8 people.

If you are a returning client, please contact your local agent for bookings.  If you are a first time traveller with To Tuscany, please first register some details with us at and then contact your local agent.

A Gem of a place to stay

San Gimignano
View of San Gimignano from Ragnaia
Ragnaia truly is a special place to stay because of its location just outside the walls of the town of San Gimignano - the Medieval Manhattan!

From outside the Villa, you have a tremendous view and will happily while away the time, gazing up at the wonderous sight of San Gimignano towering above you.

Back in the Villa, there are two levels which can work perfectly for 2 families; there are five bedrooms and working fireplaces for a typically Tuscan experience.

The Villa can sleep up to 10 people and has two special offer prices coming up.

Bookings between 26th March and 9th April will receive a 20% reduction on the normal Villa price and bookings from 30th April through to 14th May will receive a 10% reduction on the normal Villa price.

This means that you could stay for a week in this fabulous location for as little as 166 GBP each!

To Tuscany has over 300 properties on our rental website, with new properties being added throughout the year.

This month, our spotlight falls on La Macinaia.

La MacinaiaLa Macinaia is located near to the village of Montebenici, Bucine which will be familiar to many of you who have driven past on the way up or down from Montefienali hamlet.

It is within walking distance of the restaurant in Montebenici and 15km from the town of Montevarchi where you can take a train to Florence.  You can drive to Siena in around 30 minutes.

At the Villa there are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a lovely large swimming pool with diving board.  There is a bathroom next to the swimming pool too.  It can sleep a maximum of 8 people.
