Giglio is a romantic villa on the property Mezzo Poggio which has an ideal position at the top of a hill just 9 km from the centre of Florence. The whole property has superb views over the Tuscan countryside.

This villa is special due to its private heated hydro massage pool just off the lounge, on a covered semi open patio. The hydro massage pool is perfect to enjoy a relaxing dip even during the autumn or winter when the temperature is cooler. The pool can be heated for an extra charge.

Giglio is perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing holiday with good access to the sights. It is attached to the owner’s villa and a second villa which is also rented. Giglio has its own entrance and a private garden ideal to have dinner al fresco during the warm Tuscan evenings. The garden is furnished with a table and four chairs and an umbrella. It has a spectacular view of the gorgeous Tuscan landscape dotted with villages and covered with vineyards.

The villa can be entered from two different sides, one from the front garden and the other from the terrace where the hydro-massage is found. Giglio is an open space house with a mezzanine bedroom looking over the living room and a small kitchen.

The roomy lounge is down a couple of steps and has a comfortable sofa, armchair and a wooden dining table with 4 chairs. In front of the fireplace there are two chairs to relax in the cooler autumn evenings. The kitchen unit is on the higher level, it is small and equipped with gas hobs, fridge, microwave and a table to dine.

On one side of the room a staircase leads to a spacious mezzanine floor bedroom where there is a large double bed. The traditional Tuscan wooden beamed ceiling lends a warm feeling to the villa. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a shower.

The owners' villa is attached to Giglio. A friendly cat is occasionally around. Two beautiful horses are in the fenced land around the property.
