Overall impression: It was beautiful! Sergio our host was great. He was very informative and on our last night he made us a tuscan dinner and we enjoyed conversation and wonderful wine "Il Cellese" Chianti Classico. Could not have asked for a better villa, host, town, people and the best view in all of Chianti!
Highlights: The pool was gorgeous and loved the saltwater instead of chlorine.

Overall impression: What do you think of when you think of Tuscany? Do you imagine rolling hills manicured over the centuries to accept the vineyards and olive trees? The Tuscan sun and the clear fresh air magnifying the beautiful multi green lush countryside.  Maybe living on a quiet farm in a stone farmhouse perched on a hillside overlooking the valley. A glass of wine at night while a cool breeze circulates through your apartment.  After a day of sightseeing, a late swim in a salt-water pool.
Maybe food and wine comes to mind.  The Chianti Classico wine, grown literally outside your door, bottled by your host and served at dinner.  The pasta, pizza, Florentine steak, rago, tomatoes, basil, cheese, wild boar sausage and Tuscan beans at the numerous small restaurants 10 minutes away.
Or maybe its more romantic to stay at Cellese and enjoy your delicious four course Tuscan style dinner outside, under the moon and stars, prepared and served by your host Sergio three nights a week. Or cook in your own kitchen with the fresh food and wine bought from the local Coop, wine store and butcher in the small town of Castellina in Chianti: May Gregg and I recommend Il Cellese in Chianti?
Il Cellese is owned and operated by Sergio Sardelli.During our stay we were pleased to also meet his Mom and Dad.He takes great pride in his property and service.  The accommodation is brand new and 2008 was the first full season.   Sergio likes to get to know you and as your host, has developed a house party atmosphere and is very empathetic to your needs. The apartments are excellent and they have planned the accommodations to suit all family and personal requirements. During September 2008 we stayed with our friends in "Sergio" for two weeks and on our own for one week in the "Loft".Gregg and I will be returning as soon as we can.  As Canadians we were glad to see a number of our countrymen at Cellese while we were there.  You will LOVE IT! Highlights: The whole three weeks was wonderful can not pick one highlight other than to say it would be staying at Il Cellese I loved getting up at 6:30AM and sitting on the terrace and watching the sun come up over the vineyard and olive groves I was in heaven.  Cellese is right in the middle of Chianti, very convenient for day trips
