The swimming pool garden is 50 metres from the cottage and is furnished with sun lays tables and chairs and offers views across the Chianti hills with shade provided by century old Cypress trees. Although the owner's house is by the pool garden the pool is private to La Casetta. The owner is rarely there but the house keeper will attend to your every need.

From the porch, the huge hearth of the old fireplace in the living room lends a real country feel to this spacious room, which has Sat TV. Hi Fi telephone with Internet access possible. Off of the living room there is a Lemonary /dining room which leads into the garden and the olives groves beyond. For your arrival the house keeper places fresh eggs, milk, bread and fruit juice in the kitchen.                      

The sleeping quarters are reached off the lounge and comprise one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, two bathrooms both with bathtub. A self-contained studio apartment on the ground floor has a spacious double bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub. There are hairdryers for clients convenience.

When you can tear yourself away from the privacy of your own pool, the stunning hilltop Chianti town of Radda can be reached by car in twenty minutes, the glorious city of Siena is little under half-an-hour and Florence in little over an hour.

Closer to home, the ancient Chianti town of Castellina with its crocked streets has an enticing array of restaurants to choose from following the tradition of the Chianti Classico and a smattering of tempting craft shops.
