Located in the hills south of Florence near the famous terracotta town of Impruneta, Le Centine is a wonderful Tuscan villa immersed in a countryside of vineyards, sage, rosemary and woods. The villa is one of 2 villas on the property of Mezzo Poggio. There are 2 properties on this estate and they are attached. The owners live in one however the pools and garden remain private to Le Centine. The owners are available to assist whenever needed.

Le Centine has its own private swimming pool which is just a few steps away from the villa. The pool is a raised prefabricated pool with a wooden sun deck around part of it. From it there are fantastic views over the countryside and it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of the local Chianti wine.

There is also a heated hydro massage pool on a covered semi open patio, on one side of the villa. This smaller pool can be heated for an extra charge.

The property lies just 9km from Florence however it is immersed in the Chianti countryside which provides it with a wonderful peaceful atmosphere. From the large private outside space there are great views of the Florentine hills. Le Centine is composed of two interconnecting villas, each of which is fully equipped.

The main lounge has SAT TV and a CD player. It is comfortably furnished with two sofas and a wooden coffee table. The floors are tiled in the traditional Tuscan terracotta tiles providing the room with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

From the lounge some stairs lead to the kitchen and dining area. The dining table is wooden and comfortably seats 6 people. The fully equipped kitchen is composed of gas hobs, oven, fridge/freezer. There is no dishwasher. A door leads out onto a covered patio.

A bathroom is off the dining area, it has a shower and tub. There is a bedroom at the end of a small hall leading from the kitchen. The bedroom has a double bed and wooden floors. From this room there is access to the covered patio.

The hall leads into another living space which has a small kitchenette that is equipped with gas hobs, fridge, microwave and a table to dine.

Down some steps there is a sunken lounge which has a comfortable sofa, armchair and a wooden dining table with 4 chairs. In front of the fireplace there are two chairs to relax in the cooler evenings.

On one side of the room a staircase leads to a spacious mezzanine floor bedroom where there is a large double bed. The traditional Tuscan wooden beamed ceiling lends a warm feeling to the room. The third bathroom is on the ground floor and has a shower.

The double beds cannot be made into singles. There are 2 double sofabeds.

A friendly cat is occasionally around. Two beautiful horses are in the fenced land around the property.
