A wonderful villa constructed in the end of the XIX Century, with an area of 800 sqm which was completely restored by the owners, who brought this listed building back to its original beauty and splender, with a wooden-beam ceiling and decorated walls.
Le Fonti is surrounded by 15.000 sqm. of private and well maintained gardens and is therefore an ideal place to spend a wonderful holiday in the heart of Tuscany. The family Parigi who own the Villa live in the neighbouring village and will be around to make sure you have everything you need.
Le Fonti is located 6 km. from Arezzo, in the locality "Quarata", which lies in the centre of four valleys: Valdarno, Casentino, Valdichiana and Valtiberina; its position secures proximity to Florence, Siena, Assisi and other artistically important cities.
About 2km. away from the Villa there is "Ponte a Buriano" an ancient Roman bridge constructed in 1277 which was immortalized by Leonardo in his famous picture "Mona Lisa".
The villa is composed of a main house and a cottage situated in well tended flowered gardens and parkland which also has a large swimming pool. The private fenced off parkland surrounding the villa is built on three levels. The ground floor of the main house is simply furnished and composed of a large entrance hall, a living room with view of the garden, a dining-room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen which includes fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and gas hobs. Also on this floor there is a little bathroom. From the dining room access to the big Lemonary/conservatory and the garden terrace, perfect for al fresco dining.
The stairs made of stone lead to the beautifully furnished first floor, where there is a comfortable living room. On this floor there are two large bedrooms with bathrooms. On the second floor you find another lounge off which there are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one of which includes a sauna.
The cottage is located behind the main house and it has a lounge/dining room on the ground floor. Going up a flight of stairs you come to the first floor where there are 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. There is also a lovely large furnished terrace on this floor.
In the main house two of the bedrooms are twins and the rest are doubles. One bathroom is with a hydromassage bath while the others all have showers.
The cottage has a twin room and a double bedroom. The bathroom in the cottage is with a hydromassage tub.
Pets are not allowed
The villa is surrounded by large private gardens.
The villa is ideally situated for site seeing and is close to many historical towns. This is a villa that is excellent value for money.
The comfortable cottage lies immediately behind the main house.
