Casa Blue at Le Logge

Casa Blue is part of the main building at Le Logge. The main entrance door of this little villa opens directly into the lounge from which all other parts of the property are accessed.
There are the traditional Tuscan terracotta tiled floors and tiled and beamed ceilings throughout the property. The lounge is simply but comfortably furnished with a sofa and dining table and chairs.
To the left a door leads through to the small but fully equipped kitchen with oven and fridge. There is a communal freezer, and laundry room for guests use. Adjacent to the kitchen is the bathroom with shower WC and basin.
The two good size bedrooms both have double beds and wardrobes, one of the bedrooms can be made into a twin bedded room on request. Please advise at the time of booking if you require this configuration.
A simple but comfortable apartment, perfect for anyone wishing to completely get away from the everyday hustle and bustle.

Situated halfway up a hill the Tuscan hamlet Le Logge boasts excellent views of the valley below which is dotted with typical villages. The hamlet of 7 houses is very peaceful completely surrounded by woods and olive groves providing a relaxing getaway.
The swimming pool is behind the buildings slightly further up the hill where it is not overlooked by the windows of the houses. From this raised position it has breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. In the oak woods around the property you can get a glimpse of deer and other wildlife or go mushroom hunting when the season is right, this is a very popular Tuscan pastime.
At the property there is a reception where you can get information on the area. There is also a laundry room that is available for use.
Pool Info
The pool is situated higher than the hamlet; from this you have spectacular views of the valley below the property and the wooded hills that encircle it. The pool is surrounded by sun chairs and unbrellas where you can relax in your peaceful surroundings. The pool is shared among the 7 apartments of the hamlet.
This is the ideal spot to cool off after a day of site seeing and enjoy a glass of cooling wine while watching the sunset.
The pool is 14 x 7 meters and is open from mid-May to mid-October
Nearest town
2km away there is the village Pergine Valdarno that has a petrol station, shop and restaurant. Further away there is the large town Montevarchi where there are many shops and restaurants. Another large town is Arezzo that is 22km away, here there are many more shops and restaurants and other amenities. In the area close to the villa there are several restaurants.

Le Logge is een goed onderhouden estate met prachtig uitzicht over het Toscaanse landschap. Casa Blue was een leuk ingericht huisje met alles dat je kan wensen voor je vakantie. Paola van Le Logge was een aardige vrouw met goede tips over de omgeving.
De weg naar Le Logge was de eerste keer even zoeken. Er moet een steile heuvel opgereden worden. Dat was lastig in de kleine gehuurde auto, maar het uitzicht op de heuvel maakte de reis meer dan waard!
Alle kleine dorpjes en steden in Toscane zijn het bezoeken waard! Wij vonden het centrale plein in Arezzo erg aantrekkelijk, maar de uitstapjes naar Florence, Siena, San Gimignano en Monteriggioni bevielen ook.

die Ausstattung der Küche hatte Mängel. Z.B. große Töpfe haben gefehlt. Sonst war alles perfekt!
hauptsächlich kleine Wanderungen in direkter Umgebung - wegen Baby waren wir diesbezüglich etwas eingeschränkt.

Le gite très agréable, très fonctionnel
L'accueil très chaleureux.
Restaurants : Perbacco au village le plus proche et son épicerie.

Incontestablement la piscine et ses aménagements, grande, propre, ombragée, fleurie, bien équipée.
La propriété dans son ensemble.
Le calme lié à l'isolement: aucune route!
La propriétaire très sympathique.
De façon très forte, la salle de bain: sans fenêtre mais surtout avec de fortes odeurs nauséabondes de type remontées d'égouts (la ventilation installée n'ayant aucune utilité).
Le chemin d'accès: très raide, les roues de la voiture patinent, c'est très déstabilisant au début.
Le wi-fi dans chaque appartement serait un plus.
Restaurants: Perbacco et Osteria près de l'aire de jeux.
Attractions: Incisa Prada Gucci, à voir par curiosité.
Village outlet Valdichiana, bien plus abordable.
Visite de Sienne et Florence.

Die Anlage und die Lage der Häuser sind großartig. Der Pool ist ziemlich groß, gepflegt und mit einer tollen Aussicht. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und bietet auf wenigen Quadratmetern Gemütlichkeit und alles Notwendige. Paola kümmert sich sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend um die Gäste.
Wenn überhaupt: das Badezimmer war sehr einfach, insbesondere die Dusche. Dass die Anfahrt über einen 2km-langen Schotterweg geht, der das Auto etwas beansprucht, sollte evtl. in der Beschreibung deutlicher hervorgehoben werden.
Arezzo un Siena, aber auch Cortona sind die Besichtigung wert! Sowohl die Osteria als auch die Pizzeria Perbacco, beide direkt im Ort Pieve, kann man nur empfehlen.

Overall impression: Trés jolie propriété où l'on se repose admirablement bien. Les enfants peuvent s'y amuser en toute tranquilité. Je la conseillerais bien volontiers.
Highlights: Les visites de Sienne et de Florence, bien que classiques sont vraiment fabuleuses.

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
