Supermarket - There are several supermarkets in Ostuni, ranging from the small grocery shop to the larger supermarkets with all items. Note that most will be closed over lunch time.
Bank - There are quite a few banks which have cash dispensers that accept major Credit Cards.
Pharmacy - There are various pharmacies, an easy one to find is in Piazza della Libertà. The will be open on a rotational basis on public holidays and weekends.
Laundry - There is a coin operated laundry in Ostuni
Petrol - There are many petrol stations in and around Ostuni, after hours it is possible to use the selfservice machines, they accept notes of 5 Euro to 50 Euro.
Church - There are a couple of churches in Ostuni, please check the church notice boards for mass timetables.

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
