In the heart of Tuscany 15 minutes drive from Siena L'Orcio di Bardeggiano sits on a hill of Colle val d'Elsa. This private house is only a 2km from the town and also from the main road between Florence and Siena making it an ideal base for sight seeing.
The pool is 50meters from the house. It is a bio-pool that has many aspects of a clean private lake providing it with a charming atmosphere. While enjoying this spectacular pool you can also admire the stunning view of Colle val d'Elsa.
On entering the house you find yourself in a comfortable lounge that has a fireplace, TV and a computer with Internet connection. From here there is access to the terrace from where there are views of Colle val d'Elsa perched on the top of a hill.
From the lounge a short corridor leads you to the dining room, and fully furnished kitchen that includes gas hobs, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and oven. A door leads into the back garden from the kitchen and the dining room. In the basement there is a washing machine. Also on the ground floor is a guest toilet.
On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms. One double bedroom that has an en-suite bathroom with shower and tub. From this bedroom there are wonderful views of the medieval old town of Colle val d'Elsa.
At the other end of the floor there are 2 twin bedrooms that share a bathroom with shower and tub. These rooms have views over the garden. The whole villa is paved with wood and it has been built following bio-architecture styles to maintain a healthy environment.
The villa was originally destined to be the home of the owner’s son, and therefore has been carefully decorated with antique furniture. Although to one side it is attached to the owner’s house you have complete privacy.
The owner who is a paediatrician can visit children if needed.
Massages, yoga, Italian and cooking lessons can be arranged on request. Reiki treatments are also available on request.
