Mezzo Poggio is located on a large, secluded sage and olive farm and has excellent views over the Tuscan landscape. The property is situated 10km away from the beautiful city of Florence, and provides an ideal location for visiting the city.
The fenced pool is only a few meters away from the house and overlooks the rolling hills of Tuscany. The owners, a couple, live on the same property, they will not disturb you in any way. The garden and pool are private to the rental property, the owners have no access.
You enter the house into the living area which has wooden floors throughout decorated with carpets. The warmth of this room is highlighted by the terracotta ceiling with it's wooden beams. A large fireplace graces the room in a typical Tuscan fashion.
From the lounge a wide hall with wooden floors leads you out onto a terrace which has a stunning view of the countryside. Hidden under the terrace is the owners house.
Off the hall and lounge there are doors into the sunny well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are accessed from the hall. There is a large double bedroom which has excellent views of the magnificant Tuscan hills.
From the hall a wooden staircase on your left leads up to a mezzanine floor where there is a single fold up bed. In the lounge there is a double sofabed.
There is a twin bedroom which can be made into a double or triple, from this room there are good views of the olive covered hills. In the bedroom area of the house there are 2 bathrooms, one of which has a bath tub.
Using the mezzanine floor as a third bedroom groups of up to 7 people can be accommodated in Mezzo Poggio.
Due to it's country position Mezzo Poggio is occasionally visited by a friendly neighbourhood cat.
