Just a note to let you know that we really enjoyed our stay in Tuscany (9th-16th October) at Molino di Rogante.  The Mangani family were so hospitable and kind to us, making our holiday very pleasant indeed.  Even though it rained more than normal we were able to get out and enjoy the suberb scenery.  It was marvellous to have the bus stopping at the gate, making it easy for us to visit Firenze and nearby Greve.  All in all it was a most successful holiday (apart from the rain!) and we would like to thank you all very much for helping to make it so.

We have just returned from our Italian adventure (July 29th - 5th August) and wanted to say what a fabulous time we has at the incomparable Molino de Rogante.
From the moment we arrived (which was made easy thanks to comprehensive and simple to follow directions) we knew we were in paradise! The weather was glorious but still couldn't match the unparallelled view from the pool.
We had planned to set ourselves up for our trip to Rome (from where we headed home) but wish now that we'd gone to Rome first and then unwound in Tuscany.
This was our first visit to Italy and it more than lived up to our expectations. The family on the farm were very friendly indeed but apart from their cheery 'Good morning' s and the gift of a superb Chianti and some delicious fruit (thank you Albertina!) we truly felt that we had the place to ourselves.
Getting the bus to Florence was easy as anything (though we should have timed our journey back a little better) and the local cuisine was delicious!
It was heaven!
