The Suite is a lovely cottage for 2 people attached to its neighbour Siena by a typical Tuscan arch which leads into an open room where some tools are kept.
Across the path from the front door there is a grassy terrace
surrounded by a stone wall and shaded by a large hazelnut tree. Here
there is a table with chairs perfect to dine al fresco. The terrace is
in the main courtyard.
On entering The Suite there is a large spacious room tiled in
terracotta. In one corner is the small brick kitchen unit in a typical
Tuscan style. It's well equipped and includes gas hobs, oven and a
fridge with freezer. In the centre of the room is a wooden table with
4 chairs and on the other side a double sofa next to a working
fireplace which can be used as an indoor bbq.
Stairs lead to the first floor where there is a huge bedroom with four
poster bed with drapes around it. In the room is also a large wooden
wardrobe and an air-conditioning unit. The window has a pretty view of
the forested hills to the back of the property. Passing through
curtains on one wall there is access to the large bathroom, which has
his and hers basins, a large tub and shower. There is no door, privacy
is obtained from the curtains. The toilet is in a separate section of
the bathroom.
The owners are available on the property to assist with information and queries.

Palazzina di Murlo is a lovely typical Tuscan country farm, immersed in the rolling Tuscan hills with views of Siena and the Crete, just 4km from Casciano di Murlo. It's composed of a large main building with 4 apartments inside it, 3 individual cottages and the owner's residence.
On one side of the property there is a large infinity pool surrounded by sun-beds, umbrellas and great views. Next to this is a covered loggia with a large table.
The well maintained land around the pool is terraced down to a large field ideal for children to play. On one side is a large bbq that guests can use.
The gardens of the property are slightly sloped with paths paved in gravel. All around are lovely flower beds providing plenty of colour.
The entire property is fenced, however there is an open gate to the car park. There is a road passing the property but it is not a main route and is used occasionally. Some noise may be heard if a vehicle is passing.
The owners are on the property and are available to assist with any queries.

Pool Info
The pool is located above the apartments, near the owner's residence.
It's surrounded by a large terracotta sun deck and has roman steps to
enter. To one side is a large covered loggia with a table and chairs.
A row of sun-beds and umbrellas provide a wonderful area to relax
while admiring the views across the pool and fields of the property
onto the forest covered Tuscan hills beyond.
The pool is an irregular shape, it's 19x7 metres, and 1-2 metres deep. It is open from May to October.

Nearest town
Casciano di Murlo is the nearest town, it is about 4km away. It has a
small shop, good butcher, bank, post office and several other
amenities. There are also several restaurants.

The Suite
Was waren die Highlights Ihres Urlaubs? Die Landschaft, das Wetter, sehr gutes Essen im Dorf... und natürlich die tolle Unterkunft.
Wie war Ihr Gesamteindruck der Unterbrungung? Absolut top! Sowohl Wohnung als auch Aussenanlage und Poolbereich sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Wohnung ist stilvoll und komplett eingerichtet. Toll auch die Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern. Ein schöner Sitzplatz unter einem grossen Nussbaum erlaubt es, im Freien zu essen. Wir wurden von den Eigentümern sehr herzlich empfangen, sie waren während des ganzen Aufenthaltes immer erreichbar.
Gab es unangenehme Überraschungen? -
Haben Sie andere Anmerkungen? Die Wohnung ist wie erwähnt komplett eingerichtet. Gäste sollten aber daran denken, vor ihrer Anreise allenfalls Lebensmittel (insbesondere auch Gewürze) zu kaufen: Das Dorf mit Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist rund 5km entfernt.

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
