The single story end cottage of Fornaio is entered from the south side, three steps take you up to the front door and into the lounge area with large fire place. There is a comfortable double divan and arm chair. The coffee table and writing table are in dark oak and match the dresser which is furnished with TV SAT, DVD and CD.

The well designed house has a spilt level. From the lounge there are three steps  which lead up to the kitchen dining area. The kitchen and dining furniture is made of dark stained wood in the old Tuscan style. The kitchen has a polished granite top and includes 4 gas hobs, an electric oven, a fridge, a dish washer, a toaster and coffee maker. There is ample kitchen/dining facilities for four people provided.

A corridor leads you down to the bathroom and bedroom. Straight ahead is the bathroom which is light and open, there is a large shower with a tile seat for  showering in extra comfort. To the left is the bedroom furnished in old Tuscan style made of dark stained wood, there is a triple wardrobe offering ample storage space. Beside the double bed (US Queen size) there are two bedside tables with reading lamps. From the bedroom a door leads out to the main terrace furnished with table and chairs for outdoor dining.

The first class restoration on this cottage means all the fixtures and fittings are to a high standard. There are terracotta floors and the traditional terracotta and oak beam ceilings throughout.
There are 3 tennis racquets available in the villa for guests to use.
