Situated in the beautiful hills of the upper Arno valley Villa Blu has fantastic views of the valley covered with vineyards, olive groves and woods and dotted with pretty medieval towns. The villa is ideally positioned with Arezzo, Florence and Siena all within one hour drive away. Closer along the Via dei Sette Ponti there are many small towns and villages rich with history, art and Roman churches waiting to be explored.
The villa lays in a large well maintained fenced garden which has a lovely swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas. Behind the villa there is covered parking for 3 cars.
Villa Blu is a modern well furnished child friendly villa which is good value for money. It has two terraces, one on the first floor providing breathtaking views of the countryside, the other on the ground floor furnished with table and chairs to enjoy dining al fresco.
From the covered terrace the you enter the bright and spacious lounge which has Sat TV, video machine, CD player, DVD player and playstation 2. To the right is the fully equipped kitchen which includes gas hobs, oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. In the kitchen there is a table that seats 10 for indoor dining.
Towards the back of the lounge there is access to a comfortably furnished double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Stairs lead from the lounge to the first floor where there is are three spacious double bedrooms all with windows overlooking the excellent views surrounding the the villa. A fantastic terrace provides panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside.
There is also a room with bunkbeds ideal only for children. a third sleeping place can be extracted from below the bottom bunkbed. On this floor there are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a tub.
A 12th sleeping place can also be provided by a fold up bed.
The 2km of road into the nearby town, Loro Ciuffenna, is all flat and easy to walk.

The beautiful crystal pool lays to the front of the villa in the well maintained gardens. It is a few steps away from the terrace for outdoor dining.
The pool is surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas.
It is 6x12 meters and 1.4meters deep, open from April to October
Nearest town
Villa Blu is located just 2km from the town Loro Ciuffenna which has all amenities. It is possible to walk into this town along 2km of flat road. You can get a discount at the restaurant

This is a nearly new, large and beautifully maintained house. The surrounding property, including the large pool are private and very attractive...rose bushes in abundance. The property is well located, especially if Cortona, Florence, Chianti, Arezzo, Perugia, Asissi are on your visiting list. Most importantly, the owners are a wonderful couple, extremely kind, helpful and generous. They live in a separate home nearby.

I like To Tuscany, partly because it has a tremendous range of villas, and partly because (unlike many companies) it has an excellent website that provides what you really want when choosing a villa.

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
