Villetta la Loggia is a wonderful Tuscan villa in the hills south of Florence near the famous terracotta town of Impruneta. The hills surrounding this pretty villa are covered with vineyards, sage, rosemary and woods. The villa is one of 3 villas on the property of Mezzo Poggio. In one of the houses the owners live and La Loggia neighbour is rented to guests.

Villetta la Loggia has its own private swimming pool which is just a few steps away from the villa. The pool is a raised prefabricated pool with a wooden sun deck around part of it. From it there are fantastic views over the countryside and it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of the local Chianti wine.

The property lies just 9km from Florence however it is immersed in the Chianti countryside which provides it with a wonderful peaceful atmosphere. The villa is a ground floor villa with its own private outside space and a furnished and air conditioned glass enclosed loggia.

This Tuscan villa can either be entered from a small covered patio or the glass enclosed loggia from which it gets its name. The lounge is entered from the loggia, it is comfortably furnished with two sofas and a wooden coffee table.

The floors are tiled in the traditional Tuscan terracotta tiles providing the room with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In the room there is a SAT TV.

From the lounge some stairs lead to the kitchen and dining area. The dining table is wooden and comfortably seats 6 people. The fully equipped kitchen is composed of gas hobs, oven, fridge/freezer. There is no dishwasher. A door leads out onto a covered patio.

Off the stairs from the lounge is a bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. This spacious bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, it also has access through large wooden doors to the glass loggia. The floor is tiled with terracotta tiles and the ceiling has the traditional wooden beams.

The second bathroom is off the dining area, it has a shower and tub. The second bedrooms is at the end of a small hall leading from the kitchen. The bedroom has a double bed and wooden floors. From this room there is access to the covered patio.

The double beds cannot be made into singles.
A friendly cat is occasionally around.
Two beautiful horses are in the fenced land around the property.
