L'Olivo is a first floor Tuscan villa located to the back of the main building of Casetta I. It has the traditional Tuscan ceiling of wooden beams and terracotta tiles throughout. The windows look out over the pergola in the communal garden to the views beyond the property.

On entering there is a large dining table for six people in the centre of the room and a double sofa against the back wall. Passing under an arch is the kitchenette which is equipped with gas hobs, an oven and a fridge with separate freezer compartment. There is limited work space.

Down a short corridor are the two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The first of the two bedrooms is a narrow twin furnished with matching iron beds and a chest of drawers.

The second bedroom is a pretty double room with an iron bed and a large wardrobe. Like the rest of the villa the floor is tiled with local terracotta Tiles.

This vast villa near Vinci, between Pisa and Florence, could provide the perfect solution for a big get-together. Inside its high stone walls are five two-bedroom apartments that up to 19 people could call home. In fact, this striking property, its green lawns giving way to softly undulating countryside and a neighbouring golf course, is just the place to bring together a family, young and old, thanks to a ground-floor apartment that has been thoughtfully adapted for people with disabilities, including a wheelchair-accessible wet room.

The pool is set below the house in the garden, reached via steps from the communal terrace, and has a fantastic position with views across the neighbouring golf course and surrounding countryside. There is a large paved sun deck, with loungers shaded by awnings, and a couple of tables with chairs. Pool size: 12m x 6m, 1.2m-1.4m deep. Open from May to October, weather permitting.

The large swimming pool is located on a lower level of the perfectly manicured garden. A pretty path with steps leads down to it from the communal terrace. It has a fantastic position overlooking the neighbouring golf course and onto the wide open views beyond, on three sides.

Around the pool is a large paved sun deck which has various awns providing shade to several comfortable sun beds. To the far side of the pool are a couple of tables with chairs which overlook the views.
The pool is a chlorine cleansed pool. It is 12x6 metres and 1.2-1.4 metres deep. It is open from May to October, weather permitting. There are roman steps to enter the sparkling water and a Jacuzzi in one corner to relax under the Tuscan sun.

It has spectacular views looking over tuscany. The Villa has everything you need, a lovely touch of fruit and snack when we arrived a nice touch. A great location for travelling around Tuscany.

We don't have any real complaints, just would have liked extra pillows
Local attractions In a week visited Florence twice, travelled to Sienna (just over an hours drive), Vinci, amazing museum, Montecatini Olto, amazing views although not an easy drive. Restaurants, in Vinci there are lots, Nicci pretty good casual food. The restaurant next door is amazing and just outside Vinci is the Wine Cellar, not an easy find but worth it for steaks.
