    Settled inside the huge Santa Maria della Scala Museum Complex, right in front of Siena Cathedral, the art museum for children was founded in 1998 and its mission is to create a space and activities that invite a young audience (of between 3 and 11 years of age) to become familiar with the museum-space and art. It has hosted a number of activities in the past years, including the  Illustration exhibition with artists from all around the world. This takes place annually from April to early June.
