Casanuova Di Ama

  • Casanuova Di Ama

This family-run farm produces tasty organic wines and olive oils in a historic winery between the medieval towns of Radda and Gaiole – look out for the 14th-century Roman-style chapel that marks its entrance.

You’re welcome to drop by to try the vineyard’s delicious Chianti Classico Riserva, or join in one of the weekly afternoon wine tastings and guided tours led by Daniella. A delightful host, she’ll introduce you to some of the vineyard’s different wines, served with tasty bites made using the olive oil from Casanuova Di Ama’s groves.

If you’re staying in one of our two Chianti hamlets, Montefiorile and Montebuoni, you can also join in the special weekly Tuscany wine-tasting tours. These begin (and end) with a walk through the vineyards to the winery, where you’ll indulge in an hour-long session tasting the wines and olive oil.
