An enthusiastic connoisseur of the food and wines of his native Tuscany, Raffaele Busini has turned his passion into his job. Born in Val di Cornia, but now living in Chianti, Raffaele has worked for 25 years as maître d’ in several restaurants in the region, including Cum Quibus in San Gimignano. He is a qualified AIS Sommelier (Italian Sommelier Association) and is fluent in English and Portuguese. Raffaele hosts private events and wine tastings in Tuscany for groups of up to 10 people on themes including Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignons from Bolgheri, and Val d’Elsa and its wines.
