  • Activities

    Pozze di Lecchi
The Pozze di Lecchi is actually a hotel with wellness centre, however, there is a river passing below which is a fantastic place to swim in the summer as there are several small pools filled with the crystal clear, cool water and surrounded by a pretty wood. The river can be reached either from behind Lecchi in Chianti or from behind the Pozze di Lecchi hotel. Any local can tell you how to get to it.

  • Visit the village San Sano

San Sano is a village a short distance from Lecchi in Chianti. This little village is possibly one of the best preserved of the entire Chianti regione. The village is characterised by a lovely fountain of a frog. There is story behind it about a village resident on a TV game show in the 70s had to make the sound of a frog. However, the conductor told him that frogs didn't make the noise he did, the resident responded that those of his village made that noise because they drank Chianti wine. He won the prize of gold coins which he then donated to the village.

  • Radianza Art Studio
