SHOPPING Food Stores There is a main COOP supermarket in Via S. Antonio. Other smaller grocery stores can be found throughout Montalcino. These are normally open Monday – Friday from 9am - 1pm and 4pm – 7pm. Saturday 10am – 1pm Market A small ‘local’ market is held here every Friday. Chemists Main chemists can be found in Corso Mateotti Giacomo and Piazza del Popolo Banks There are various banks in Montalcino with cash dispensers that accept credit cards.
