The large oak double doors restored from the original building provide a fitting entrance to Il Frantoio. Inside the cottage the original oak beams and handcrafted stone work give this charming country cottage a warm comfortable feel. There are traditional terracotta floor tiles throughout.
From the entrance to the right and up two steps is the kitchen area. This fully fitted kitchen includes 4 gas hobs, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a toaster and coffee maker. There is ample kitchen/dining facilities for 2 people provided.
The inside dining area is found on the same level as the front door. There is a wooden dining table with 4 chairs. Behind stands an impressive antique glass fronted cabinet.
Ahead leads you to a corridor to the bathroom and bedroom. The bathroom has a shower and is finished with travertine tiles. The bedroom has a double bed and a single bed with handy draw spaces underneath. There is a large double wardrobe and the window faces East for morning sun.
To the left is the living room that is equipped with CD player. This room has comfortable chairs for relaxing indoors, the terrace door gives a bright aspect and leads down to Il Frantoio's private terrace.
The large terrace is covered with an antique pergola made with oak beams and terra cotta tiles. This is a well-furnished superb space that offers wonderful views of the forested hills and is perfect for relaxing with a book or dining outside.
