Ciacchieri is a lovely private pool villa located in the town of Gaiole in Chianti. From the two terrace areas of this wonderful property there are good views of the Tuscan town.
Down some steps and through a small gate, from one of the terraces there is the private pool. It's not a large pool however is private to guests and surrounded by a very well maintained garden. There is a hedge around the pool protecting it from the views of the nearby town.
The villa is part of a larger modern building in which the owners and some other family members stay. There are two terraces, the first has excellent views of Gaiole in Chianti. The table with 4 chairs are shaded by a lovely grapevine. The second terrace is across the drive and directly infront of the villa. It is protected by various plants and the building itself. Here there is a table with chairs for 6 people.
Entering the villa there is a bright living area perfectly maintained by the owner who lives on the floor above. This large room is furnished with two wicker chairs, a working fireplace, and a wooden dining table with 4 chairs. Along one wall is the kitchen unit which is equipped with gas hobs, fridge with separate freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
To the right of this room is a large twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The tastefully furnished room has a small wardrobe and writing desk. Like in all the rooms there are pretty hand painted designs on the wall. The bathroom has a shower.
The main bedroom is to the back of the villa, it is a large, spacious and bright room with a double bed. There is big wardrobe and writing desk in this well furnished bedroom. En-suite is a bathroom with shower, this bathroom also has a second door with direct access to the living area.
Next to the villa there is a covered parking area which is used by guest and the family that lives in the building, so the terraces are not completely private.
Due to the position in the town, there is some noise from Gaiole.
Outside the villa is a small laundry room.
Small dogs are welcome, there is an extra weekly charge for their stay, payable at the property

Pool Info
The pool is down some steps from the larger of the two terraces. It is fenced off and has a gate at the top of the steps. Going down the stone steps there is a vegetable garden to one side which guests can help themselves to. The owners will come to tend to the garden daily.
The pool is surrounded by a tall hedge which provides it with privacy from the neighbouring buildings. Around the pool are some sun-beds. To one side is a manicured garden with a table and chairs. Shade is provided from the various trees in the garden.
The pool is 7x3 metres and 1.6 metres deep. It's open from May to October.
Nearest town
The nearest town is Gaiole in Chianti where there is a selection of shops, restaurants and other amenities. The villa is in the town about 50meters from the closest shop.

Host family was friendly and accommodating.
In the kitchen the table was a little small for four people, and a lack of some utensils was a bit inconvenient.
Lack of a compendium outlining for example rubbish collection/recycling and town's facilities (restaurants, food outlets, etc)
We enjoyed each of the resaurants in the village. Also the restaurant at castello di meleto (very friendly), and
winetasting at Spaltenna. Wandering the streets of nearby Radda. Taking a trip back in time in the medieval Tuscan towns of Monrriggioni, San Gimignano and Siena.

The villa was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a great holiday. The owners were very welcoming and always helpful when we needed them. The pool was a great hit with the children and was very clean. The villas location is great for visiting the castles and vineyards of Chianti as well as the larger cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo. While Gaiole in Chianti is not as pretty as some of the other towns in the area it has all the facilities required and the feel of a real place rather than a tourist attraction. All in all a great holiday.
Only a couple of minor things. It would have been nicer to have more comfortable seating inside and it was quite easy to lock yourself out.
There are a number of nice restaurants in the town and surrounding area all doing nice food. We were grateful for the restaurant which was just below the villa as they accommodated us with a nice meal when we arrived late and hungry on our first day of the holiday.

La proximité du village (accès direct à pied par les escaliers) tout en étant à l'écart.
Très jolie maison et très bien entretenue, idem pour la piscine.
Le propriétaire présent et très serviable mais très discret.
Fontaine d'eau potable près du village (à signaler éventuellement sur votre site), cela évite d'acheter des bouteilles.
Enormement de moustiques très agressifs (prévoir des bougies et de l'anti-moustique)
Nous avons été un peu surpris au début par la terrasse qui se trouvait quasi dans le parking, ce que nous n'avions pas compris sur votre site. Ainsi que la distance qui sépare la maison de la piscine ( pas idéal avec un bébé )
Les pizzas (au milieu de la rue piétone) sont excellentes.
La Coop, on y trouve de tout.
La boucherie très locale sur le coin, à voir!!
Le Château de Brolio, magnifique!

Sehr hübsch eingreichtete Ferienwohnung, sehr sauber und ordentlich - ebenso das gesamte Anwesen der Familie. Sehr gepflegte Aussen- und Poolanlage. Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung.Sehr nette Vermieter, vielen Dank für den leckeren Salat aus Papas Gemüsegarten vor dem Haus und die leckeren Weinproben. Sehr zuvorkommender Service, wir hatten eine Jacke vergessen, die wurde uns nach Hause zugeschickt - vielen Dank !
Siena natürlich !!! ( 30 km ), natürlich die nahegelegenen Weingüter ( Meleto und Geografico ), die vielen hübschen Örtchen in der Gegend, etwas weiter natürlich auch Florenz oder Pisa. Unbedingt das Panforte in den zahlreichen Facetten veruchen und dazu vin santo genießen.....<3

Everything!
Especially liked the pool and relaxed atmosphere. Great garden and home grown produce. Family run, typical tuscan, property. The owners were relaxed, very helpful and friendly whilst respecting our privacy. Free wi-fi certainly a bonus. We had everything we needed and were pleased at the standard of accommodation. Couldn't have asked for anything more, we had a wonderful holiday, thank you Jonathan, Leopoldo & family!
Nothing. It was perfect for us.
Would recommend others try the local Pizza takeaway Pizza.it e da asporto and il Boccon Di Bacco (bar) in Gaiole. Very friendly towards us. Great meal at Osteria Al Ponte.

I loved the decor and the view overlooking the city. The location was also very close to the small village. It's very safe, clean, well kept, and has an amazing garden/pool with terrace eating area.
It is not private. The owners live above and have to walk by your area in order to get to their cars, garage, and/or access to their home. There is also an extra charge seperate from the deposit as well as the rental amount for use of the A/C that was not mentioned although we never used the a/c while we were there.
Loved the wine tour and food at the Castello di Tornano, just a short drive away. The food and service at the local restaurant Lo Sfizio di Bianchi was excellent with killer desserts! The Pizza It Ciamparini Corrado has a pizza nazi who makes everyone who isn't a local wait at least an hour for one pizza. Just a 40 minute drive to Florence, 30 minute drive to San Gimignano, and you have to visit Montepulciano for food and wine!

die Lage im Ort, schöner kleiner Pool mit Außendusche zur Eigennutzung, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung, Fliegengitter an den meisten Fenstern, traumhafte Umgebung, sehr nette Eigentümerfamilie
Bei schlechtem Wetter würde ein kleiner Wohnraum fehlen, es gibt nur ein kleines Sitzplätzchen in der Küche. Deshalb sicher besser für zwei als für vier Personen geeignet.
Radda, Castellina und der Parco del Sculture del Chianti sind sehenswert.
Gut gegessen haben wir in der Pizzeria in Gaiole ca. 2 Gehminuten von der Wohnung entfernt und in der Osteria "Piccarda" bei Ponte di Bozzone kurz vor Siena (sehr gut und sehr preiswert).

liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt, sehr rühriger Vermieter, entspricht in jedem Detail der Beschreibung auf der Website, überdachter Stellplatz wurde großzügig zur Verfügung gestellt, Verkehrslärm aus dem Ort war in keinster Weise störend
Küchenausstattung (Besteck) könnte etwas umfangreicher sein: für eine vierköpfige Familie gerade ausreichend, Spülmaschine läuft dann allerdings nach jedem Essen...

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
