And beyond its gates, there is golf and tennis nearby for active guests, and Arezzo, Cortona, and Montepulciano for the culturally minded to explore.

The medieval village of Castiglion Fiorentino is just 5km away. Castiglion Fiorentino is at the centre of a triangle formed by the cities of Florence, Siena and Perugia and is dominated by the ancient castle of Torre del Cassero. There are a selection of fine restaurants, bars and wineries, and the museums, the church and the castle never fail to impress. Also 5km away is the town of Manciano, which has the rare attraction of a series of natural hot springs. These natural geysers measure around 25 degrees Celsius and are free to access. Manciano also boasts a further selection of museums, attractions, wineries and shops.
