Padronale at La Ripa, Ulignano - San Gimignano - Siena and Chianti
Agriturismo La Ripa is a small hamlet of three Tuscan rental villas and the owner's private villa. It is a short distance away from San Gimignano whose towers can be seen from a section of the garden. Within walking distance is the small town Ulignano. The pool is down a few steps, a short distance from the villas. Each villa has its own garden. There is also the well maintained communal gardens and a small olive grove which guests can enjoy. The garden has plenty of trees, providing shade from the warm Tuscan sun, and shrubs providing plenty of privacy. Though there are limited views, it is a wonderfully silent and peaceful estate not far from a town.
There is one friendly and calm dog which is free to roam the garden. This must be kept in mind if you plan to bring a pet.

Padronale is een fantastisch huis met een heerlijke veranda. Twee badkamers waarvan er eentje wel wat aandacht zou moeten krijgen. Alles volstaat maar er is slechte ventilatie en dus zit er schimmel op de muren van de douche.
Het zou ideaal zijn als er in de twee slaapkamers een airco geplaatst zou worden. Het was nu om te slapen wel heel heet (ondanks de dikke muren van het huis).
Verder echt niets aan te merken. Prachtige veranda, pizzaoven, goed uitgeruste keuken voorzien van alle apparatuur.
Een heerlijk zwembad met ruim voldoende ligbedden en parasols.Ons favoriete restaurant was bij ons vakantiehuis. De BBQ heeft in één week drie keer aangestaan en we hebben ook pizza gebakken in de pizzaoven. We hebben wel wat tips gekregen om te gaan eten. We hebben gegeten bij Pizzeria Ristorante Maroni Di Marione Daniela in Certaldo. 14 minuutjes rijden vanaf Padronale. Het eten was prima en de ligging echt heel mooi. De bediening bestond uit jonge niet geïnteresseerde mensen zonder liefde voor het vak. We hebben een bezoek gebracht aan Siena, San Gimignano en Monteriggioni. Alle drie zeker het bezoeken waard.
