A small footpath and 12 stone steps lead you to the entrance door to Bel Sorriso. The entry leads to the living room; this has a beautiful hand-carved antique credenza and comfortable sofa which folds out to a double bed, and armchairs. There is a wood-burning stove for chilly evenings, a TV with over 50 satellite channels, a DVD player, CD player and iPod docking stereo.

To the left of the entrance door, three steps lead you to the formal dining room. This room has an antique table and seating for six persons. There is an additional wooden foldaway dining table and a large wooden desk with telephone and Internet access( bring your own computer). Off of the dining room is a bathroom that has a shower cubicle, WC, basin, storage units, heated towel rail and a washing machine.

At the rear of the living room to the left, three steps lead you to the kitchen. The kitchen is well appointed with modern appliances including a fridge/freezer, oven/microwave and gas hobs. (There is no dishwasher). There is a table that seats four people.

To the right at the rear of the living room, one step up takes you to the hallway area. Along the hallway is a twin-bedded room with antique wardrobe and dresser. A few steps further along the hallway is a double-bedded room, also with antique wardrobe. The bathroom with shower completes the rooms off from the hallway.

The terrace and private garden are accessed by a door to the left in the hallway. The terrace is furnished with a barbeque, tables and chairs for 6, a sun umbrella, 2 sun-loungers and a small drinks table. The private garden is bordered by shrubs and lavender bushes and looks out to the countryside and the young woodland surrounding the hamlet. The garden enjoys sun all day long and the terrace has sun in the morning, and afternoon until sunset; this makes it ideal for al-fresco breakfasts and dinners. The terrace also has lighting so you can continue your drinks and conversation after sunset.

The house is not configured to accommodate children, and therefore, the owner asks that no children under 8 years old be booked in to the property.

There is no toaster or filter coffee machine
