Val di Prulli is located on a property of several houses about 2km from Cavriglia. It's a tiny cottage well restored with good fittings and furniture. The gardens are well maintained and from all areas there are excellent views of the Valdarno.
The pool is a short walk away from the cottage passing the main house. It is a lovely area with fantastic views. To one side is a pergola with table and chairs. Around the pool are umbrellas and sun-beds.
From the small furnished terrace Val di Prulli is entered into a kitchen/dining area. There is a wooden table with a couple of comfortable chairs. The kitchen is fitted with hobs, small oven and fridge. There is no freezer. There is a wall mounted TV in the room.
A sliding door leads into a comfortable size bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The beds has a mosquito net. There is a good size bathroom with shower.
The owner lives in the main house near the cottage. They are available for all queries.
Val di Prulli is not far from a small airfield where there is some weekend private plane noise. Also not far away is a road that cannot be seen.
The owners may make occasional use of the swimming pool, but try to ensure their guests have as much privacy as possible.
The air conditioning at Val di Prulli is charged weekly when used.

Pool Info
The pretty pool is located a short walk away from the cottage, passing the main house. It has a lovely paved area around it with deck chairs, umbrella and sun beds looking out over the fields and the Valdarno.
To one side of the pool is a pergola furnished with table and chairs, ideal for afternoon meals.
The pool is 10x5 metres and 1.2-1.5 metres deep. It's open from mid-May to end-September.
Nearest town
Cavriglia is approximately 2km from the villa. Here there is a choice of shops and restaurants. Further away is Montevarchi which has all amenities including a very large hypermarket.

Das Appartment war doch recht klein und beengt für den Preis. Der Swimmingpool war weitestgehend sich selbst überlassen, voll mit Insekten und daher für uns nur einmal nutzbar.

C'était vraiment parfait. Un cadre tranquille en pleine nature.
Un grand merci aux propriétaires qui nous ont accueilli avec tant de gentillesse et d'attention. L'accès à la piscine privée - nettoyée tous les jours - était vraiment impeccable ! De vrais moments de détente !

The owners of Val di Prilli made our stay there one of our most enjoyable and memorable holidays. They accomodated us in whatever way possible, while giving us privacy to enjoy our time there. We cannot thank or praise them enough ...
The apartment is finished to a high spec and is very comfortable - an ideal place to relax and chill out. The pictures do not do it justice ...
The location is excellent. Close proximity to the A1 makes it a very good base from which to explore the surrounding Tuscan countryside.
All in all, a very authentic taste and experience of tuscany ... we will definitely be returning!

Sehr nette Gastgeber, großer sauberer Pool in gepflegter Gartenanlage.
Das besondere an Val di Prulli ist die Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe. Da es nur eine Fewo gibt, hat man den Pool für sich und keine Lärmbelästigung von anderen Gästen.

The villa was lovely inside, very high quality decoration and fittings and with all of the facilities that you could possibly need. The gardens and pool were excellent with absolutely gorgeous views! We really enjoyed sitting out on an evening with a glass of wine watching the sunset!
I think that we were most impressed with the hospitality of the owners. They were so kind and helpful, despite us not speaking much Italian and them not speaking much English! The first morning we woke up to some homemade biscotti and a bottle of olive oil that they had produced! Throughout the week their kindness continued and we were very sad to leave!
We hope to return at some point in the future!
There were only two slight criticisms that we could think of. The first is that from the description of the property we thought that it was separate from the main farm house, and had not realised that it was connected to the farm house with it's own private entrance. However, this was not a problem, the owners left us in privacy and once inside the villa you would not have known that it was effectively underneath the house. The second slight criticism is that the bed was not very comfortable, however we have put this down to being used to a memory foam matress at home, and therefore it might not be a problem for others!
There is a gorgeous gelateria in Cavriglia (2 mins drive from Val di Prulli)! We visited there most days!
We also really enjoyed visiting Arezzo, it was a lot quieter than Florence/Sienna/Pisa with a really beautiful square with some nice restaurants that you could sit out at. It was nice to go somewhere that wasn't too touristy!
We also researched parking in Florence and Sienna before we went so that we didn't get stung by parking charges in the centre (30 Euros per day in Florence! Very expensive!) - if you look before you go you can find free car parks and then get a bus (very cheaply) into the centre of the town!

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
