The saltwater swimming pool is reached by a stone path across the lawn and enjoys views across the Chianti countryside. Next to the pool is a beautiful covered pergola, sun loungers and an outdoor shower. The pool area is shaded by tall evergreen trees and is very private and enclosed.

As you walk into the house you enter the parlour area which has two comfortable leather sofas and a wood burning stove where you can sit and relax. This area is ideal as an extra lounge area.

From the parlour you enter straight ahead, in to the large professional style spacious kitchen/dining room which has a range cooker, preparation island, large antique table and seating for 10 people, microwave, separate gourmet oven and a raised fireplace for grilling meats.

At the back of the main kitchen is a separate preparation area or working kitchen, this has a 'sub zero' refrigerator/ freezer, a dishwasher, an American style coffee machine and an automatic expresso machine.

From the kitchen there is access to a large fully furnished terrace with sun parasol and built in barbeque area.

To the rear of the second kitchen is a utility room which is fully equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

To the right of the parlour is a fully equipped exercise room with state of the art fitness equipment including a treadmill, rowing machine, free weights and weight station and two stationary cycle machines. (Please note that children under 14 are not allowed to use the exercise room without adult supervision).

To the left of the parlour are stone steps into a hallway furnished with antiques, off this hallway is bedroom 1 which has a double bed, en-suite bathroom and ceiling fan.

From this bedroom there are large French doors leading out onto its own terrace with table and two chairs.

At the back of the second kitchen you will find stairs leading you to the higher levels. To the left at the top of the stairs are two double bedrooms. Bedroom 2 is tastefully furnished and has a ceiling fan and large wardrobe. There are lovely views from the windows of this bedroom.

Bedroom 3 is a larger room, also with ceiling fan and large wardrobe and, in addition, a dressing table and sofa. Bedroom 2 and 3 share the bathroom which is across the landing. This is a bright and airy room with bathtub and handheld shower, separate 'open style' shower, heated towel rail, WC and washbasin.

Next, you enter in to the main living room of the Villa. This is well furnished with enough sofa space to accommodate everyone, a large fireplace which is the focal point of the room, satellite TV, DVD (multi-region), video and CD player. To one side there is a computer workstation with free access to the internet and email and also a printer.

Large French doors lead out to the garden and another furnished terrace area. There are beautiful views across the open countryside from this garden area.

Leading off from the living room is a corridor that gives access to bedrooms 3, 4 and 5. Bedroom 4 is first on the right, this is a large double room with ceiling fan and separate dressing area.

The room is furnished with antiques, including a grandfather clock, and in the bathroom you will find an unusual marble shower surround.

Bedroom 5 interconnects with bedroom 4 or alternatively you can access bedroom 5 by stepping on to its private furnished balcony which is at the end of the corridor. Bedroom 5 has a double bed, ceiling fan and large en-suite bathroom with glass enclosed shower cubicle and marble and wood washbasin. There are great views of the vineyards from the balcony of this bedroom.

There are no other rentals on the property. The owners live, in an apartment adjacent to the villa, with their two sweet shy shelties, Lotte and Oskar. They are only seen when needed, acting as custodians and problem solvers, and do not access the guest’s private outside areas (pool area, 3 patios and back yard/garden) except for occasional maintenance.
