Villa Nenine, Montevarchi - Arezzo and Cortona
A hideaway made for two awaits at Villa Nenine, in the beautiful Valdarno. You could spend your days just wandering this ancient river valley, discovering the dramatic yellow gorges and pillars carved from the clay soil on which thrive olive- and vine-clad pastures, lofty pines, and cool oak forests. But nearby Montevarchi will prove irresistible to visit, too. Here you can step back in time amid its medieval streets and even witness age-old traditions such as the yearly re-enactment of the historic football game Gioco del Pozzo, which takes place every September. The roads to Siena, Florence and Arezzo meet here, so you’ll be tempted to venture further afield, too.
After all that exploring, you’ll relish a refreshing dip in your own private pool, just one of the joys of this garden cottage. Stretch out on a sun-lounger at the pool’s edge or lay a rug on the sweep of lawn. When the sun is high, retreat to the pergola, also a good spot for al fresco meals and sundowners.
The cottage has a shady veranda, too. Inside, its open-plan design unites cooking, eating and relaxing, with the beamed ceiling giving a nod to tradition and panoramic windows adding contemporary luxury. The double bedroom and bathroom are to the rear – with everything on one level, this is a great choice of accommodation for anyone with mobility issues.
The friendly owner lives onsite. They will be happy to help while re-specting your privacy.

Villa Nenine ist eine sehr schöne, kleine, gemütliche und hübsche Unterkunft für einen erholsamen Urlaub zu zweit.
Ob bei guten wie schlechten Wetter, die Villa Nenine bietet verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten bzw. Essensplätze an.
Der eigene Pool liegt wunderschön im Garten und lädt zur Entspannung ein.
Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hat uns gute Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants, Weingüter, etc. gegeben.
Montevarchi liegt sehr günstig für Ausflüge in der Region.
Wir haben die zwei Wochen sehr genossen und werden sicherlich noch einmal hier Urlaub machen.
Ausflüge nach Florenz und Arezzo mit dem Zug. Siena, Volterra, Pienza, Montepulciano, Castello di Sammezzano, etc. gut mit dem Auto erreichbar Gute Weingüter in der Region
