The clue is in the name; this stunning property near Arezzo features a tower. This quirky feature really looks the part, with its high exposed stone walls creating a church-like atmosphere – a sanctuary in which to retire from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Your only quandary will be deciding who in your party of up to 10 guests will seize the tower for the night? Yet, more than enough compensation is offered in the size, shape and style of the other bedrooms, calm spaces with terracotta floors and wooden ceiling beams, decorated in pastel shades with pretty floral motifs and furnished with elegant iron-framed beds.
Across the property, you will love the open-plan feel of the interior and its centrepiece, a spectacular, large arch, with living, dining and cooking areas all furnished and equipped to the highest standard. Torre del Cielo's magic and style extends into its garden as you will discover as you explore along the delightful, plant-lined stone steps, with lawns providing eye-catching views of surrounding olive groves and forests, a furnished pergola that is the perfect spot for al fresco dining, and a private pool with the added bonus of a luxurious Jacuzzi.
A welcome buffet on arrival is included in the cost. Use of the outdoor Jacuzzi, which is by the pool, must be booked in advance by guests, see additional costs. Guests can fish at the private lake near the villa, bring your own equipment, and there is five hours' use of the local tennis court in Monterchi included in the price, again bring your own racquets and balls. A private chef can be booked, only on request and with owner confirmation. Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms.

Tolle Lage mit herrlichem Ausblick ins Tal. Sehr netter Gastgeber, der uns mit vielen Tipps versorgt hat. Wir hatten viel Spaß und Ruhe im Urlaub. Rosado hat mich mit seinem Traktor sofort aus einer misslichen Lage befreit.
Rosado's knowledge of the area was invaluable. He provided us with excellent recommendations for local attractions, hidden gems (like the monastery di Montecasale), and charming nearby villages to explore. It was clear that he genuinely cared about ensuring his guests had an unforgettable experience. His warm demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile truly set Torre del Cielo apart.
Additionally, the villa's location was perfect for discovering the region. Monterchi itself is a charming town with its own unique character and history, and it served as an excellent base for day trips to nearby towns such as, Cortona, Siena, Arezzo and Sansepolcro. Whether it was exploring ancient ruins, indulging in delectable local cuisine, or simply taking leisurely walks through the countryside, there was always something incredible to discover.
P.S. Our go to restaurant near by was La Pieve Vecchia...great food, great owner!
