The swimming pool is located about 50 meters away from the villas with vineyards rising to one side and a fantastic panoramic view across the Chianti hills to the other. It is the perfect place for relaxing after a day of sightseeing with it’s intimate atmosphere. There is a separate pool for children.

Galenda is an ensemble of 12 houses all renovated to extraordinary standards and all with a private entrance and garden or terrace . High quality materials have been used for the restoration: handmade terracotta floors and the beautiful terracotta tiled, typical Tuscan high ceilings with wooden beams are distinctive features of these charming villas. There are two roads passing through the hamlet that join and ending in a small charming square. The communal car park is located at the entrance to the property.

Galenda lies in a completely quiet rural setting, away from the flow of tourists, however is the perfect place from which to explore the entire Chianti. It is convenient to visit all the main towns and villages of this fascinating part of Tuscany, such as Radda, Gaiole, Castellina, Greve and Panzano. The historical art centres of Siena, San Gimignano and Florence can be reached by car in about half an hour.
