Il Villino, Siena - Siena and Chianti

This was an absolutely wonderful house, it was spotless very big and very comfortable. The location was stunning, the views and gardens superb.
I would highly recommend this house to any and all my friends and anyone else who asks.
The owner could not have been more helpful.
In shirt it exceeded all my expectations.

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at Il Villino 10. Indeed we cannot find fault in any aspect of the arrangements. The villa is lovely with panoramic views and great to be so close to the amenities of siena. Marco, the owner, is a wonderful and attentive host and displays great pride in his work. Thank you Marco for your attention and care.

Sienna and San Gimiagno are musts, but it is overall landscape that is so wonderful. We did not come across a poor restaurant

It is a beautiful Vila surrounded by persimmons, lemons trees, roses and a pear tree. It fit our group perfectly. 4 couples everyone had a lovely room and private bath. The spa was great too. The owner Marco is a hands on manager. We spent most evenings watching the sunset on the patio. There is a gate and the property is fenced so you feel very secure. This place is a piece of heaven!

The location of this Villa is great. We made day trips to Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Montepulciano. and of course Siena. We took advantage of the private chef, Il Fiasco, they recommended and we used Grape Tours for a wine tour. They picked us up at the Villa and we had a wonderful day of wine tasting. The chef cooked for us two nights and they were the best meals we ate all week.

The villa was perfect size for our group of 8 and the pool, views and surrounding area was absolutely beautiful The kitchen was very well equipped. Easy drive to Siena and many of the Tuscan highlights

Beds were a bit hard for us and wifi some days didn't work for a few hours.

Siena , San Gimignano, Volterra, Montepulciano, and Florence- all amazing.

Pooldusche benoetigt neuen Brausekopf (Kalk). Sehr gut: Warmwasser am Pool. Insgesamt: Ein wunderschoenes Objekt.

Die Zimmer und die Moebel mussen auch bei Nichtbelegung gelueftet werden. Die Schlafzimmer rochen muffig.
Das Radio funktioniert nicht.
Aber: Alles kein Problem!

Natuerlich Siena - Restaurants haben wir in diesem Jahr nicht benoetigt.

Great central location to Tuscany with wonderful views.
Loved the big pool and all the space for our party of 10.
Marco and Simona were very responsive to requests.

Piazza del Campo in Siena and any number of little towns and villages just a short drive from the Villa.

Lovely villa in convenient location to Siena. Outside and in the villa was immaculate with every facility we could have wished for. Clean and well maintainted throughout. A villa with high standards appreciated by all in our party. Cannot really fault it. Benissimo!

Nothing to dislike about the villa though we did experience a little initial difficulty engotiating the route to it from Siena. Perhaps it's position could be better explained in directions given.

Too many to list, but easy to discover for yourself.

We were a family with grown up children, grandchild and friends. It gave everyone a private space especially with the number of bathrooms available. The outdoor space was suitable for quiet reading, playing, swimming and adventures for little ones.

The kitchen was a bit disorganised and you had to go to different cupboards in the living room for preparing meals. Lots of beautiful furniture but delicate glass on cabinets and difficult lock which housed dishes used everyday. This was a little concerning with a little one walking past all the time to go from one room to another (he was only 20 months so an adult was always with him) but perhaps children a little older playing in doors may not be so careful or safe.

The Hotel Devioli which did wine tasting and lunch about 20 minutes away but beautiful tranquil place to visit. Siena, there is an Osteria Da Dino ( Cave restaurant that keeps going back and down not cheap but wonderful food) just behind the Duomo if you enter by the car park closes to the Duomo. Good ice cream in village if you turn right out of the gate about 7 miles but 2 family restaurants there too. San Gimiginano is a lovely place to visit about an hour away. Plenty of car parking and get the bus up to the top.

Wonderful place to relax, enjoy marvellous scenery, play in pool, prepare great meals in well equipped kitchen and generally to enjoy being together. We were a family group of 10 with ages 18 to 70 and one 3 year old and there was lots of space for us all. Wifi was very helpful for many of the group. Good supermarket nearby.
We were met by our welcoming host, who was great at sorting out any problems quickly.
Altogether pretty perfect!

Not a criticism but it would have been useful to have some of the bedrooms set up as twin-bedded rather than doubles for our particular group.

Didn't eat out much as our party included many eager cooks and we loved local provisions (Tuscan potatoes best in the world), but we all enjoyed going into Siena to wander, to look at shops and hang around in cafes people-watching. My favourite place is the Museo Civico which has fabulous frescos, paintings, sculptures - a real feast.

The amazing views, the pool, the grounds, the good quality furniture and spacious rooms.
The privacy and seclusion of the villa but within easy drive of Sienna and local amenities.
The chef organised by Marco to cook us a meal at the villa; a taste of Tuscany and good value.
The friendly and responsive help provided by Marco.

We spent most of our time at the villa, but also enjoyed trips to Monteriggione and Sienna.

Es gab einfach alles!

Leider war es für die Jahreszeit zu kalt( wofür keiner was kann) und da die Villa eher für warmes Wetter ausgerüstet ist, fehlten uns warme Bettdecken.

The entire experience was wonderful. Marco treated us very well and the accommodations were outstanding. I would highly recommend II Vullino to anyone looking to escape to a peaceful environment. The town of Siena was amazing and I would highly recommend having dinner in the square.

Wish there was a hot tub and fire pit!

We spent a fabulous week at Il Villino 10 and would go back in a heartbeat! The Villa and grounds are gorgous and the locations was perfect. It was in the upper 90's when we were there so the pool was a huge bonus. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating. I would highly recommend renting Il Villino 10!

Das Kombiticket mit Dom, Baptisterium, Museum und Aussichtsplattform gilt 3 Tage und ist günstig (12 Euro). Multimedia- Guide sehr empfehlenswert. Die natürlichen heißen Thermen sind ca. 40 Min entfernt, kosten nichts und sind ein Geheimtipp bei den Einheimischen. Supertoll für bewölkte Nieseltage.
