Perched in the Tuscan hills, close to the city of Lucca, Residenza al Principe is a villa that would lend itself to a special family celebration or anniversary. Standing in splendid isolation amid extensive lawns, with a spacious kitchen and lounge-diner, and five generously-sized bedrooms all with their own bathrooms, there's more than enough room for everyone. Step inside this beautifully restored property and you instantly feel as though you are exploring your own private boutique hotel (this used to be a B&B). The villa has been renovated to an extremely high specification and you are sure to warm to its modish colour schemes, which alternate cream and beige with bolder combinations. Mood lighting, sleek furniture, Roman blinds, luxurious banquettes and walk-in tiled showers add further touches of luxury.
You can dine within these stylish surroundings or al fresco on the terrace under a large shaded pergola, swagged with voiles, perhaps enjoying pizza made from the wood-burning oven. The grounds are huge and enclosed and will make a natural playground for any children in your party. A ping-pong table, a 5-a-side football field, two hammocks and plenty of deckchairs mean that everyone can, should they wish, find a place to retreat to. There is also the large private pool to enjoy, with another shaded and furnished pergola, from where there are more views of the surrounding mountains.

Wir waren als Gruppe in der Villa zu Gast und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Villa war sauber und in sehr gutem Zustand. Das wirklich riesige Grundstück ist sehr gepflegt und komplett eingezäunt und sicher auch für Familien optimal. Sehr schöner und gepflegter Pool welcher täglich vom Gärtner gereinigt wurde. Die Lage ist ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und Erkundigungen. Die ganze Anlage war wie immer so wie von toskana.de beschrieben und angeboten. Die Schlüsselübergaben haben reibungslos und perfekt mit Herrn Pio funktioniert welcher überhaupt überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend war. Auch mit dem Hauseigentümer hat es einen sehr netten Kontakt gegeben. Alles in Allem sehr zu empfehlen und wie immer Top-Service von Toskana.de.Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Osteria Il Ciancino in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Villa. Bestes Bistecca was ich bisher gegessen habe. Überhaupt einfach die vom Wirt empfohlenen Gerichte probieren. Hervorragendes Lokal in Lucca direkt an der Piazza dell´Anfiteatro ist das LÀngolo Tondo, sehr gutes Essen und freundliches Personal. Wir haben hier das 5-gängige Überraschungsmenü des Küchenchefs genossen - top.
