Casa di Pesa, Radda in Chianti - Siena and Chianti
A really pretty villa built of light Tuscan stone, Casa di Pesa is set in expansive mature gardens and is the perfect bolthole for four people who want to take a break together, but appreciate their own space. Just a few kilometres from the popular town of Radda, this is an ideal base from which to explore Chianti wine country. Other lively market towns such as Gaiole and Lecchi are also within easy reach, and even the art-rich city of Florence is near enough for a grown-up day trip.
And once you’ve had your fill of exploring, you have your own well-equipped apartment to relax in. Both are bright and comfortably furnished, yet cosy, with modern kitchens. Outside, there are two terraces offering some private space, as well as a furnished pergola, for dining outdoors. And the delightful sunken pool area is one of the best places to sit back and admire the views of the undulating hills and mountains beyond.

Der Empfang war unglaublich herzlich, die Empfehlungen von Alexandra bezüglich Unternehmungen und Restaurants waren sehr hilfreich. Die beiden Wohnungen sind sehr komfortabel,sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, die Lage und der Ausblick sind einfach grandios. Wir wurden sogar mit selbst gebackenen Keksen, hauseigenem Vin Santo und Olivenöl verwöhnt. Massimiliano hat uns an seiner Leidenschaft der Chiantiweinherstellung teilhaben lassen.Unser absolutes Highlight war der Dom von Siena, unbedingt vorher online reservieren. Aber auch die vielen kleinen Chiantidörfer wie Panzano, Greve, Castellina und Volpaia sind bezaubernd.
