Casa Reasco 8, Torniella - Roccastrada - Grosseto and Maremma
Casa Reasco 8 is located in the pretty medieval village of Torniella and is perfect for anyone wanting to experience authentic Tuscan life, with beautiful countryside right on the doorstep. Thanks to its spacious layout, the house is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for comfort and privacy.
Torniella offers two restaurants, a few small shops, and a bar - all within easy walking distance. For more extensive shopping, the town of Roccastrada is just 15 minutes away by car and offers a supermarket along with stunning views over the surrounding plains. Southern Tuscany is rich in both culture and nature. History lovers can visit Vetulonia, once a major Etruscan city, with its necropolis and museum. Nature lovers will enjoy the Maremma Natural Park, a nature reserve stretching for 25km along the coastline. Day trips to Grosseto, Colle Val d’Elsa, or Siena are also highly recommended.
The house is located in the historic village center and is a traditional Tuscan townhouse built from natural stone with green wooden shutters. The garden is surprisingly spacious and well maintained. A large lawn, rose beds, and a shaded wooden gazebo with a dining table and chairs provide the perfect setting for relaxed outdoor meals.
The three-storey house offers plenty of space and privacy for all guests. Inside, it has a warm and welcoming feel, with wooden beam ceilings, exposed stone walls, and a lovingly curated interior that combines character with comfort.

It takes you about an hour to drive to Grosseto or Siena. Both worthwhile, but there’s also lot to see nearby:
I Canaloni di Torrente Farma,San Galgano, Bagni do Pietriolo. Nice little villages such as Monteciano, Roccastrada, etc. where you can experience and enjoy the day-to-day live. We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful wine tasting at Tenuta di Gramineta, about 15 min drive from the house! We also can recommend restaurant La Capanna in Monteciano and La Fornaccia in Sassofortina (it look likes a snackbar but never had a better pizza!)
