Casetta Moraiolo, Montevarchi - Arezzo and Cortona
Casetta Moraiolo is a lovingly restored holiday home that was once a traditional Tuscan barn. Today, it offers a peaceful retreat in the gentle hills of the Valdarno, ideal for a couple or small family looking to unwind and experience the charm of Tuscany. The view stretches across rolling hills to the historic Torre di Galatrona and immediately evokes a sense of space and tranquillity.
The charming village of Mercatale Valdarno is less than a ten-minute walk away and offers a small selection of shops and two cosy restaurants. Just two kilometres from the house lies the renowned Petrolo winery. The town of Montevarchi is around 15 minutes away by car and has large supermarkets and a direct train connection to Florence, offering a convenient way to visit the Renaissance city. Siena, Cortona, Montepulciano, and the UNESCO-listed Val d’Orcia are also within easy reach for memorable day trips.
Casetta Moraiolo is painted in a soft earthy yellow, typical of the Tuscan countryside, and blends beautifully into the landscape. A spacious loggia furnished with comfortable seating invites guests to dine or relax outdoors. On the lower level of the garden, a private pool offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside , making it the perfect spot to unwind. The garden is surrounded by olive trees and offers plenty of peaceful corners.
Inside, traditional features are combined with modern comforts. Terracotta floors, wooden beamed ceilings and carefully selected furnishings create a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the villa.

Unser Fazit: Jederzeit wieder!
