Only 5 kilometres away lies Montelupo Fiorentino with shops and restaurants. Situated on the banks of the Arno, the town has been famous for its ceramic production since the Middle Ages. Visitors can learn more at the fascinating ceramic museum or attend the international ceramics festival held every June. Also nearby is Empoli, renowned for its master glassmakers. Florence is just 29 kilometres away, and we recommend travelling there by train from Montelupo Fiorentino or Empoli. Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano and the coast are also excellent options for day trips.

The cream-painted villa is surrounded by extensive gardens with olive groves. A sheltered terrace with dining table invites you to enjoy meals outdoors. Below the villa lies the large pool with a seating area shaded by a pergola, the perfect place to watch spectacular sunsets.
