With a striking sense of character and class, Fienile San Carlo is one of the most unique and comfortable villas of its size. Set amongst the rolling green hills of the Chianti valley, you can relax away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. However, since you’re only 2km away from the sleepy town of Greve, you can still have easy access to a variety of fine shops, wineries and restaurants. A great deal of care has been put into the designs, inside and out. From the two-tier swimming pool and gazebo terraces, to the stylish furniture and decorations, the result is as impressive as it is homely.

The interior, encompassing three floors, combines chic sophistication with peaceful country atmosphere. The dining room features a splendid vaulted ceiling with a door leading directly to the expansive terrace outside. Climb the dark-wood staircase and you’ll come to a large living room, adorned with a magnificent tapestry and plush furniture to relax on after a long day of sightseeing. Finally, on the top floor, you’ll find a mezzanine bedroom, with a balcony that runs alongside the perimeter of the lounge. Truly individual.

Our Thoughts
This is a very pleasant surprise indeed. Fienile San Carlo stands out from the crowd as an obvious choice for anyone who wants to escape in style. There’s so much space for everyone. With a lush garden with tall hedges and trees, it’s easy to forget the outside world. A large terrace with distinctly classy outdoor furniture is situated just outside the dining room, and another beside the pool. Speaking of which, it’s rare that we see a pool quite like this. Set on two levels and separated by a waterfall, this elegant display never fails to impress.

Bedroom 3 is set on a mezzanine floor, the balcony of which looks down onto the lounge. There is no door separating these two areas.
Included in the price is a midweek clean and change of bath towels.
The property is completely fenced and pet-secured.
The owner lives on site in a separate house to the rear of the property. Only the rear of the property can be seen from the owner’s window. They have two dogs. The owner cannot see the front of the property, which is where the outdoor terraces and gazebos are located. The pool area is also well-sheltered from the owner’s view and the owner does not use the pool.

Pool
The pool is a 50 metre walk from the villa and is set on two levels, with a waterfall separating them. The lower pool is the larger and deeper of the pair, measuring 9x8 metres, with a varying depth of 1.5 to 2 metres. Meanwhile, the upper pool measures 9x6 metres with a depth of 1.2 metres. The pool is open all year round. A set of Roman steps lead down into both sections of the pool, and the surrounding patio is furnished with four sunloungers.
