Just four kilometres away lies the charming town of Panzano in Chianti, known for its rich food culture. Here you’ll find the famous butcher Dario Cecchini and his renowned restaurant Officina della Bistecca. On Sunday mornings, the town comes alive with a market offering fresh local produce. Wine lovers can visit the nearby Il Molino di Grace winery, just a short walk away, for tastings. The Osteria Le Panzanelle restaurant is also within walking distance. Well-known towns like Greve, Radda, Gaiole, and Volpaia are close by, and Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano are all ideal for day trips.
Set in a quiet rural location, the house is surrounded by a well-kept garden with lawns, flowering plants, and artistic sculptures. A covered dining terrace runs along the front of the house, and additional seating areas are scattered throughout the garden. There is a pergola-shaded terrace by the pool, and even the outdoor shower is a sculpture in itself. Il Fienile has no Wi-Fi, making it an ideal place to unwind and truly disconnect.
Inside, guests will find Tuscan charm throughout, with terracotta floors, exposed wooden beams, and a fireplace. The house is equipped with everything needed for a restful and comfortable stay.

Alles ademt Toscane. Het huis, de omgeving, de sfeer. Als je Toscane wilt proeven is dit een perfecte plek tussen Siena en Florence.

Uiteraard de slagerij en restaurant van Checchini in Panzano. Moet je gewoon een keer gedaan hebben. We hebben de wijnproeverij gedaan van Il Molino di Grace om de hoek; wijn van de grond waarop je verblijft. Regelmatig naar Greve en andere plaatsjes in de buurt. En meerdere keren naar Siena en Florence, leuk om tegen de avond te doen. Speciale tip als je een dag helemaal wilt relaxen: Asmana wellness world in Florence. En eten… dat is bijna overal lekker in deze streek.

De ligging tussen Siena en Florence maakt deze plek inderdaad ideaal om de Chianti-streek en haar vele prachtige dorpjes te ontdekken.
