Among them is the well-known delicatessen Casa Porciatti, owned by the same family who look after La Casanova. Guests can enjoy friendly service and a hand-picked selection of regional products just minutes from their front door.
Built from traditional Tuscan stone, the house features a covered terrace next to the living area – a lovely spot for breakfast or a quiet dinner outdoors. Around the pool, large terracotta planters filled with colourful flowering plants add a relaxed Mediterranean feel, perfect for long summer days.

We booked this villa to enjoy a traditional Toscana experience for my 50th birthday for just my wife and I.
As soon as we picked up our fiat 500 from Florence airport and made our way through the rolling hills and valleys ( avoiding motorways) it became clear we had made the right choice!!.
An hour journey became 2 1/2 hours as we frequently stopped en route to take in the breathtaking scenery..
And as we arrived at our destination it just got better by the minute!
We met Lucciano and Simonetta and their family at their amazing Porciatta deli in town for the keys, and she guided us to the property and made us feel so welcome.
The old saying “ home from home” could never be more true.
My wife and I are lucky enough to have travelled all over the world, from budget b&b’s to 5 star and boutique hotels..
But I will always remember the feeling of community and the warm welcome we had in Radda!!!
Ty Lucciano, Simonetta, and family.DANTE’S…DANTE’S…DANTE’S !!!! Excellent food, exquisite wine, and the nicest owners/staff you will ever meet! Claudio and Virginia absolutely made my holiday and my 50th birthday celebrations a time I will always remember! Porciatta’s deli … felt like a local hub for the community.. The Porterhouse steak in Vignalle restaurant is to die for!
