Wir hatten in der Vergangenheit schon viele Ferienhäuser gemietet, aber Le Volte hat alle anderen Häuser übertroffen. Anfangs hatten wir etwas bedenken, dass die 2. Standorte (Wohnen-Schlafen und der Pool Bereich) nicht optimal wären. Aber aufgrund des hervorragenden Poolhauses war das überhaupt kein Problem. Wir haben diesseits sehr genossen. Vielen Dank.

Siena ist insbesondere Abends immer eine Reise wert. Die umliegenden Dörfer haben ihren eigenen Reiz und bieten alles für einen entspannten Urlaub.

The swimming pool and pool house are what make this place. Lovely infinity pool great views and plenty of eating areas. The pool house was lovely, it has a well equipped kitchen, lounge and bathroom and is air conditioned. We used this for breakfast and any meals when we didn’t eat out. We only really used the villa for sleeping, it was July/August and we found the villa too hot, only the bedrooms are air conditioned. We kept the shutters closed all day. The pool was a little further from the villa than I’d expected from the pictures, down a steep hill, it is fair to say older people would find this walk difficult particularly in the heat. The key holder was lovely, she lived nearby and was always available for any questions we had. Radda the nearest town is ever so nice it has lots of restaurants and wonderful views and is relatively quiet.

Le Volte was in a great location with 2 wineries at our doorstep. It had a beautiful infinity pool and pool house with reasonable gym equipment for quick cardio work-outs.
We highly recommend this villa to anyone who wants to spend some quality, peaceful and relaxing time in the village of Gaiole.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Le Volte sehr genossen. Der Pool und das dazugehörige Poolhaus sind sehr modern und in sehr gutem Zustand - zudem direkt in einem Olivenhain gelegen, was sehr schön war. Auch die Aufmerksamkeit der Betreuerin vor Ort und den Putzservice haben wir sehr genossen.

Nicht ganz überzeugt hat uns hingegen die Ausstattung der Küchen (nur zwei kleine, portable Öfen, wenig Arbeitsflächen) und die Qualität der Einrichtung im oben gelegenen Wohnhaus. Auch wenn die rustikale Einrichtung sehr gut ins Chiantigebiet passt, so sind die Möbel doch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und etwas muffig. Dass wir am Ende des Aufenthalts noch den kompletten Strom (zu einem stolzen Preis) bezahlen mussten, war für uns in der Preisklasse dann doch recht lächerlich.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen - würden das Le Volte aber nicht noch einmal buchen.

Das Restaurant Malborghetto in Lecchi in Chianti - unbedingt reservieren! Ansonsten lohnt sich sicher ein Ausflug nach Siena, Radda oder auf verschiedene Weingüter.

Ein absoluter Traum, vor allem die Poolanlage mit dem Poolhaus. Wir haben uns tagsüber fast nur dort aufgehalten. So stellt man sich Urlaub in der Toskana vor. Die Hausverwalterin vor Ort war sehr sehr freundlich und hat uns in allen Belangen immer sofort geholfen. 1A mit Sternchen!

Der nächst größere Ort ist Radda. Dort befindet sich auch ein Supermarkt. Die riesigen Pizzen im Restaurant Pizza Pie sind der Hammer. Wir mussten 2x dort essen weil es so lecker war.

We stayed at Le Volte from 13th May for one week and immediately fell in love with it. Our host was there to meet us two hours ahead of check in time and gave us a full tour of the house and pool area. The whole place was absolutely spotless and so beautifully decorated. I have not stayed in a villa before but our family members have lots of times and said this was by far the best stocked villa they had seen.
The beds were all so comfy and with five bathrooms we never had to share. The pool area was just magnificent and you’ll never beat that view. We spent most of our time there and with a kitchen you really didn’t need to go back to the house.
The villa was cleaned top to bottom twice during our stay which we weren’t expecting but hugely appreciated.
The whole property is even more impressive than the photos and I loved that there were other people close by as we didn’t feel isolated.

We visited Radda in Chianti on two occasions for dinner, book stead as can get busy. Very good supermarket there. Easy stunning drive to lots of towns like Siena. A great all round location.
