Immersed among lush green trees on the hillside, and featuring a trio of expansive terraces, Torresassa is a grand getaway. The pool is encircled by sunloungers, plant-life and great views across the valley. You can easily walk to the local village of Iano, whilst the superb walled mountain town of Volterra is just over half an hour away in the car.

The level of class on display is truly astounding. The exterior resembles a countryside castle, but the interior has a plush opulence about it, with styles bordering on the aristocratic. The antique furniture lends a historic lived-in atmosphere, but it’s also very comfortable. Aesthetically and practically, Torresassa is a winner on all levels.

Our Thoughts
Goodness gracious – the views at this place! It’s hard not to spend this entire paragraph talking about them, but Torresassa is so much more than that. The hillside garden, the luxurious pool with wooden sun-deck, the three terraces, the individually-designed bedrooms. It’s not so much a case of “Where do we start” as “When do we stop”.
