The large infinity pool with panoramic views is one of many highlights. A covered terrace and several outdoor seating areas provide plenty of space to come together or retreat for quiet moments.
The location is perfect for exploring the region’s renowned wineries and castles. The prestigious Castello di Ama is just over a kilometre away and also features an impressive collection of contemporary art. The Chianti towns and villages are within easy reach, and cities such as Siena, San Gimignano, Florence and Arezzo are perfect for day trips. Radda, with its restaurants, shops and supermarket, is 15 minutes away by car. The charming villages of Lecchi and San Sano can also be reached on foot in under 30 minutes. Each has a restaurant and a small grocery store.
The property comprises a two-storey main house and a separate guesthouse for two guests, ideal for those seeking extra privacy.

Within walking distance of Hamlet Valliole is also the village San Sano. The Chianti town, Radda in Chianti is 15 minutes drive away.

We had a great family time. Delightful location, fabulous swimming pool, perfect weather. The linen, towels, cutlery, plates (in particular the serving variety) and glasses were clean, ideal and plentiful.
That said, as I am sure you are aware, the property is rustic and in need of a little polishing investment.
On arrival, both the main kitchen fridge and the fridge in the garden annex had been left switched off, meaning they were not ready (no ice) for use and took time to cool. The garden room itself appeared somewhat unprepared for guests, with no soap provided in the bathroom and an inconsistent supply of hot water.
In the Garden Annex, there were concerns regarding cleanliness and maintenance; cobwebs were visible on some of the ceilings, and the large glass door was particularly problematic.
The handle on the garden room entrance door is broken, making it impossible to properly operate, the door had to be slammed shut to stay closed. There was no effective locking mechanism, which raised security concerns. On one occasion, the handle detached completely, leaving a member of our party trapped inside and requiring assistance from outside to free them.
The Welcome Book is in poor repair; it contains a jumbled collection of equipment notes alone. It is recognised that the property is hired by those speaking a variety of languages but that does not make up for the v poor state of this feature.
Google Maps took us straight to the house, which begs the question - are directions really required; those provided by the PPM were poor.
We would have found the ‘To Tuscany’ website, detailed property notes easier to digest if they were under one heading rather than having to open up a number of individual folders.
We loved dinner at Malborgheto in Lecchi we went back for a second time. Had a day in Sienna and another in Florence, travelled to the former by car the latter by train. Radda is lovely Stopped at Greve en-route to the villa, market day Saturday - excellent Visited Volterra on the way home, a revelation, again excellent, v well worth the detour.
