Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, allerdings liegt die Unterkunft sehr abgelegen. Wer Ruhe und Erholung mit tollem Ausblick sucht, ist hier richtig. Die Anfahrt führt über eine Schotterstraße mit einigen Schlaglöchern, was uns aber bekannt war. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Der Pool ein Traum.

Beautiful villa, and stunning views. We have stayed at Vignale a few times, and find it such a brilliant location. Everyone mentions the road, its not that bad after your first drive up. Nothing beats the views from the pool.

The villa at Vignale had epic views and was a big beautiful home. We had plenty of space for our group of four and enjoyed the many little places to sit and relax. The hosts also gave very clear driving instructions which were easy to follow. Using GPS to find the property does not work! Definitely follow the written instructions. They also proactively communicated that the drive up is quite steep and needs a higher clearance vehicle which was appreciated. We had cool, rainy weather in May so the house was quite cold but you could pay extra to try and heat it. Also the outdoor seating gets lovely morning sun but not evening sun which is probably nice if it’s hot, but less good for colder weather. Also pool is very chilly in May! If you love warm water, wait out until later in the summer. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely love to come back.

Fantastic out of the way Villa. If you want seclusion this is the place. Although there are other properties on site they are situated in a manner that retains privacy. Views are great, appartment was clean and well furnished. Small issue with fridge but nothing that wouldn't be sorted after reporting and didn't affect our stay. Shared Pool is clean and well maintained, again with fab views. As said above this is secluded and 2.5km from tarmacked road thus a car is ESSENTIAL. Also it is a fair drive to nearest shops etc.
This is my second visit to Vignale ( stayed in cottage last time)
In summary, we loved it. Thx

The villa is beautiful and pool has amazing views and we had a fabulous time. The only downsides were:
1. The air con. It’s only in the bedrooms (it’s fairly cool downstairs). It was great the management responded really quickly when we advised the air con wasn’t working but even the replacement unit didn’t really cool the room.
2. The road to the villa. It is very rustic. The way recommended takes 15 mins at 10-20mph. Actually there are other routes which are better be really good if some guidance was given.

The restaurant in Lecchi was amazing and great value.

L'endroit est juste magnifique. Un petit paradis. Néanmoins pour accéder à ce paradis la route est difficile au quotidien. Mais cela en vaut la peine. 10 minutes de route escarpée. Mieux vaut un bon SUV qu'une berline. Sinon concernant la maison pas grand chose à dire si ce n'est une climatisation inefficace et bruyante. Les nuits ont été chaudes et notre sommeil mitigé. Nous garderons néanmoins un souvenir extraordinaire de ce séjour !

Wir waren eine Woche in La Torre Vecchia. Es war eine schöne, aber auch eine anstrengende Woche. Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen und sehr großzügig. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll gestaltet. Die Ausrüstung der Küche ist gut, leider waren das Besteck und die Gläser schmutzig!
Die Aussicht vom Haus und vom Pool war atemberaubend. Jedoch wurde in der ganzen Zeit die Poolanlage nicht einmal gereinigt. Viel Laub und alte Flaschen lagen hinter den Liegen. An dieser Stelle sollte auf jeden Fall nachgebessert werden! Zudem wurde ab spätem Nachmittag die Sprenkleranlage angeworfen und wer dort im Umkreis auf einer Liege verweilt wird nass.
Zur Lage: nun ja, es wird natürlich in der Beschreibung angegeben, dass es von allem ein Stück weg ist. Egal ob zum Essengehen, Einkaufen oder Sightseeing - man muss mindestens immer ca. 30min einplanen um über die kurvenreichen, oft engen und steilen Strassen auf eine Hauptstraße zu kommen. Mit kleinen übelkeitsempfindlichen Kindern war dies oft anstrengend und ein Grund, warum wir diese Unterkunft (mit Kindern) nicht nochmal buchen würden. Dennoch war es eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft, die unsere Erwartungen an die Toskana umfänglich erfüllt hat.

Location was first class and the standard of accommodation was perfect. La Torre Vecchia was. Clean, comFortable and has the best positi9n in the complex. The view from the upper terrace was magnificent

Marlboro ghetto was our favourite restaurant, and the Grotto in San Sano was also very nice. The food was quite similar across the region but it was excellent and the restaurants were very friendly

We had a great time! Villa was fantastic. Amazing views. Really well stocked with everything you would need for a week's stay with books, films, kitchen utensils, bedding, towels etc.

De oprit naar de woning was een uitdaging, maar was wel gezegd bij de reservatie. Het huisje was prima in orde en alles was aanwezig. Het zwembad was ook dik in orde.

Alles lag nog al ver weg (winkels, bezienswaardigheden) en je moest de berg altijd af en op met de auto . San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena waren zeker de moeite om te bezoeken.

Superbe logement avec une vue magnifique mais pour mériter cette endroit, il y a ce chemin un peu moins confortable qu il ne faut emprunter de préférence qu une fois par jour. Prévoyez donc votre pain la veille ...Le logement est très bien aménagé, très complet en vaisselle et accessoires , très bonne literie, magnifique piscine. Belles balades en partant du logement. Je recommande cet endroit

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison très bien équipée. L'accueil et la propreté étaient également parfaits. Nous avions l'impression d'être dans une maison de famille grâce à la décoration très soignée et l'authenticité qui se dégage du hameau. Nous avons apprécié le calme et la proximité des sentiers de randonnée ainsi que la localisation qui nous a permis de visiter les principaux sites toscans (Sienne, Val d'Orcie, Florence, San Gimignano et le Chianti). Nous garderons un souvenir exceptionnel de notre séjour.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre repas à la Grotta de la Rana dans le village tout proche de San Sano (accueil, qualité des plats et rapport qualité prix).
